I have no skin in this game but I always found the trinity to be unusually uncontentious within Christianity.
Sure you had Arianism but the trinity seems too much of a contrivance of interpretation in a meta sense rather than something sourced directly from scripture. I always found the fact they had to add a verse to support it (1 John 5:7–8 ) means they were aware on some level that it was hard to accept without explicit mention. It almost feels like they really didn't want him to be a demi-god, even though the eventual concept of the Hypostatic Union just makes him one in purpose anyway (fully human and fully divine as opposed to half of each). I guess I wonder why the trinity has extreme rigidity to it versus a lot of other things.

The biggest fallout from this is domestic, they have to know that. So IF that "Trump tipped Iran off" rumor is true AND this "Iran is seeking legal action" thing is true I'm going to throw a wild guess out, a path to turn this from "just" another Soleimani strike into an actual domestic win:

Iran "wins" American assistance in building modern nuclear reactors in Iran to "make up for" the destruction. Literal nation (re)building, the exact opposite of another forever war, complete with American monitors so Israel and their American puppets can't just pretend the IAEA doesn't exist. Sold properly as preparing for building NPPs in America even the libertarian retards wouldn't have a "because muh deficit we MUST be replaced first" leg to stand on against it, and of course totally deflate the Demo party's hope of building off of anti-war momentum. For Iran this would end Israel's chances of kneecapping Iranian energy by prompting another ME shithole like Iraq into invading their oil-lands which mostly exist outside their mountain fortress. It would also demonstrate both to Israel and Americans that Israel isn't in charge, further split the ME hordes from the Demo party to help shore up the midterms, and demonstrate to the rest of the world that Trump has carrots along with his stick. The latter would likely attract other thirdie nations who we've already seen overreacting to any ounce of goodwill coming out of America/Trump recently like Pakistan has, adding more to the wedge in the Demo party. Also, Iran becomes a prototype for the goal of building NPPs in America which based on Elon's continued solar sperging and previous ket bender rage, actually is a goal of the admin if nothing else in this paragraph is.
