Yeah,Let's hope this does not escalate and Iran does not hit any US troops. Either way, this requires some introspection, the influences of Israel, IAPAC, and the neocons should be more discussed amd fought against.

We killed him while he was actively working against the US outside of his country in Iraq. I'm leaning towards this not going any further than this too but there is a gulf of difference between assassinating one guy while he was arming people to fight against you in another country and dropping 6 bunker busters on Iran itself.

It's gonna escalate. This seems like a pretty overt sign of that. As much as I wish otherwise. There won't be any introspection. Gotta wait another decade for the boomers to drop before that.

The afghanistan bullshit and everything surrounding it reeked to high hell even if we don't get into the who danced on what roofs weeds and similar window dressing, but the simple fact that a whole lot of people knew an attack was coming our way ahead of time and no real or meaningful measures were actually taken to protect ourselves by intent and design - But instead we ended up do just doing exactly what was asked of us well after the fact, had a bozo leader shrug and lie about it and then buried the lead with a gaggle of day late dollar short bullshit nanny state security theatre measures.
