i just hope the cell doesnt last for more than a couple of days. i know its a fishtank tradition, but i get tired of it quick knowing they could be doing other things. i was hoping for freeloaders today but it'll probably be after the cell.

I'm hoping they're able to sneak at least one freeloader in before they start the Cell, generally helps to have someone present actively making it worse for the others. Otherwise everybody just sits there until they get bored.

Hopefully they continue allowing Freddy to drink in the cell because the other fish are already noticeably close to losing their patience with him.

Aryeh can just continue being himself and after hour 5 or 6 of Spongebob lore people will get fed up.

Its boring because it grinds the show to a halt, the only good one was Season 2's because it was mini-games and the fish started getting irritated and shouted at each other. S3 had a high energy ending to it but it was otherwise awful to watch because of the fucking horn going off every few minutes.

Update: This morning, she did not unambiguously cry. She might have cried, but I can't tell; she tends to get manic around 11:20, but it's manic in the same way that small children are when they're overtired; she'll go from cheery to sobbing mess within 15 seconds with the right stimulus. Yesterday, it was Seth hitting her door with a curtain rod, and the day before that, it was a mean TTS about her friend dying. Today, I don't think there was any sufficient stimulus, but she still entered the same unstable state at the same time she had on prior mornings, so I think the phenomenon is still occurring, but timing her cries does not tell the entire story.

HOWEVER: She stated at around noon that she forgot to take her meds this morning, so there's a chance that the meds she takes in the morning are responsible for her crying routine, but I suspect she gets in that emotionally unstable state at the same time each morning, and only sometimes has a stimulus that sets her off. In any case, I will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates until either she is eliminated, or my theory is more conclusively invalidated.

I was looking forward to studying this as well, as much of a burden she was, I found it really funny how she could talk herself into a panic attack almost every morning. Car crash panic attacks are somatic, victims absolutely choose not to talk themselves into a panic attack if they can help it. The nervous system takes over and people would do anything to put a stop to it, not willingly invite it. She is such a case study of bipolar.

Daniel is probably a pro at not leaving his room, should be easy peasy, honestly.

The only thing entertaining about the cell is the opportunity for production to dick around the house and with the fishes' stuff.

'The Cell' is fun, it lets the fishes prove they have the mental fortitude to last. As well as low enough self respect to piss and shit in a closet potentially. Also fun to see what they resort to trying to get each other to leave.

Also it's just really repetitive. There's only so much you can do within a single room. Every season has had a cell challenge. We know what to expect. The fish know what to expect. There's no element of surprise. It's existence is purely to be a TTS and SFX farm.

Season 2 you had Tay soyfacing and TJ offering his arm to put a cigarette out on him. Season 3 you had fucking Simbal of all people getting the upper hand on Frank.

The most boring part is friendtank where fish just talk, laugh and are all super friendly which has been quite frequent recently. The cell is at least something.

People need to stop romanticizing Frank in the house. In S1 he just primarily targeted Letty and Sylvia, everyone else didn't care about him. Season 2 you had Tay soyfacing and TJ offering his arm to put a cigarette out on him. Season 3 you had fucking Simbal of all people getting the upper hand on Frank.

Simbal only got the upper hand because they let him do more than all of the other contestants in any season have, especially when he found out Frank was only allowed to do so much to him. It's why I'm glad they cut the cord on Rachel at the right time. The primadonna schtick, who gets to break the rules because they threaten to leave, gets annoying fast. The Wild Randy bit with Burt and Alex was indeniably funny

Tayleigh also had multiple meltdowns because of Frank. But yeah, otherwise the contestants were at the point they were exhausted so it was like kicking tired dogs.

Both Frank and Fatty's problem is they are better as a brief but impactful shock and awe. The issue has been in the seasons, so far, by the time Frank and Fatty get there is when the content has died and they need those two to drag it out of people to keep anything happening.
