Feedback Technical Grievances

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Normally I use LibreWolf (privacy Firefox fork) but now I can only access the site via Chrome. Tried turning ProtonVPN on and could not access. I could not wrap it and now I'm going to get digital AIDS jersh
 
Thumbnails are all broken on clearnet; okay with Tor but Tor is slower than usual.

i had issues with not being able to load thumbnails and even being able to access the site earlier today. switching VPN nodes fixed the issue but i had to try a few times to have everything working at once. one node would block the site but let me load full-sized images from a page i already had open, and one node would let me load the site but blocked thumbnails

I recently changed my email address for my KiwiFarms account and noticed that the account confirmation link uses the kiwifarms.net domain, which is obviously not functional. Changing it manually to kiwifarms.st works, but I feel like I shouldn't have to do this.

Also I tried sending a email to the general correspondance account found on the "Contact us" page at first because I couldn't find this thread, and the email failed to deliver. Probably because those email also use .net? I don't know how this shit works.

It's all very inconsistent, as far as I can tell. I live in Europe and use a VPN. I don't post here a whole lot. I ran into some problems and at the same time I never experienced others, such as loading thumbnails.

This is probably already known, but if you're navigating highlights and you've blocked someone that has their post highlighted, the "next/last highlight" button does nothing except slightly inch the page upwards if the highlight is on the same page. I would expect it to simply skip to the next unblocked highlight or at least give some indication that the post is made by a blocked user. I've tested this on Chrome and Brave on mobile but not desktop. If the highlight is on another page then I think it usually just loads the next page but doesn't show the highlight, which is fine (imo).

If I'm skimming highlights I usually just skip to the next page and continue as normal but it's fairly annoying.

edit: I'm aware Brave runs on Chromium so it's probably not unexpected that they exhibit the same behavior

Nully Null the options bar is just nuked for me on the sharty thread and whenever I try sending something it says that I can't attach more than 10 images at once. :( Only affects the shiwi though not any other places
