However, since 2024, there has been a noticeable and rising disappointment among nearly everyone I know who voted for him. Which is a lot of people. It's not even disappointment. Lots of them are calling him out as a fraud, something some of us saw shortly into his first term. That's understandable, because the PR spin and gimmicks can only cover up so much bullshit, imho.

Sometimes I simply think some people's expectations are so low (due to several previous administrations setting such a low bar) that Trump essentially can't fuck up.

When your expectations are low, you won't often be disappointed or disillusioned.
