Do you have any idea what total war is? If America wanted, they could swat Iran like a fly. Wanna know why the US didn't officially get involved with Ukraine? It's because if America went to war with Russia it could escalate into a costly war for America, one it would likely win if no other countries got involved but too much to risk for defending Ukraine. The most China or Russia will do is what America did for Ukraine. Except they have even less of a reason to give a shit. The most that will happen is China or Russia will send a pittance to save a little face and then turn their back on it. Why would they risk an extremely costly war just because Arabs got bombed in the desert. Comparing a major axis power to Iran is ridiculous, because Iran doesn't even represent a fraction of the power of the Japanese during WW2. On top of that the US is a the Hight of its power, by an order of magnitude than it was in the 1940s. I simply don't understand how anyone could think this of all things would jump start WW3.
