Duke Nukem "I've got balls of steel" Thread - It's time to kick gum and chew ass. And I'm all out of ass.

In your opinion, what is the best Duke Nukem game?

Holy shit guyz, 2025 is the Year of the Spoony Movie!

What's worse, having greasy Randy owning the IP, having DNF2001 build be hijacked by troons who did nothing with it or an incoming street shitter animated adaptation that will fully complete Duke's transformation into a redditor that the "fanbase" on twitter and the boom shot community made him out to be for years?

Am I the only one who thinks Forever was decent? Everyone shits on it like it's an abomination but I didn't think it was any worse than other shooters released in that era.
It is bad now that we know there was a superior version of the game they could have finished instead. Nobody wanted the generic 2 weapon limit corridor shooter we actually got.

Eh, it was alright at best and meh at worst. And that was kind of the problem considering the game was in development for almost an entire fucking decade so people had a lot of expectations.

That and it was supposed to be a Duke Nukem game but it didn't really do a good job of feeling like one.

I was under the impression there were several projects chugging along, and that a few of them posted regular updates?

Granted, I was expecting something more than a single level to be released by now, but I want to keep huffing the copium and live long enough to play a proper version of DNF.

I played it a few years ago for the first time, its a ok game and nothing wrong with it, i enjoyed the game. I guess it was just popular to shit on the game at the time because it got delayed so long, and it got hated specially from these feminists urinalists that cant handle men being a bit rowdy to female npc in the game.

As someone who's never played much of the games, I'd like to ask how, besides being a spiteful Pajeet projecting his Jeet nature onto evertything, Adi's impression of Duke is so wildly different from most other peoples', making him out to be a "middle finger" contrarian to anyone trying to rein him in. I always made him out to be more of America's equivalent of Austin Powers, minus the "fish out of water" element. A womanizer, a ladies' man, a lover of action and alcohol, bacon, bullets, and smackling around anyone who'd mess with his world. He's a combined homage and parody of action heroes whose take on them is to be even MORE straightforward honest about what he is, and what you see at face value is also plainly how he is deep down. There's pop culture references but he loves what he's referencing and quoting, rather than trying to be ironic, irreverent, or "Hey guys, surprsied I saw this thing?". This is already too many words for fucking Duke Nukem as a character, but I think I'm closer to the actual intent than Shankar.
