She has stated that she believes only the lolicons are pedophiles. The charitable reading of this is that she hasn't really taken it seriously enough to see the truth about the lolis too.

I didn't watch his stream last night, mostly because I didn't really care to know more about Kirsche's situation. I figured after all the stories about journalists trying to cancel someone, why would this be any different?

Also, I felt like a Patrick Tomlinson stream would've been way better than this.

People are still getting their panties in a twist about this post, so I'll make one concession. My 50% hyperbole was too extreme, I'll admit that. But don't doubt that it's a sizable amount, I won't back down on that. I'm not denying that lolicons are pedophiles either, I don't know where people are getting this idea from my post. My point is, from anecdotal experience, some people who rail against it aren't always honest with other people or themselves. People are putting up facades on the internet is my main point. Honesty isn't required on the internet.

I don't think kirsche is a pedophile, I don't think she's a lolicon, I don't think either of those things of metokur either.

Frankly a lot of you are borderline obsessive about anyone that just doesn't care about removing every lolicon from their audience or sphere or whatever.

Most people don't care about lolicon especially in anime circles for the same reason people into video games roll their eyes when you say something about violence in videogames.

If you showed either person a picture of someone wearing their merch while molesting a child they would probably be violently upset, if you showed them an image of a lolicon pfp called "littlegirlarmpitsuoh" wearing their merch they would laugh and call them a weirdo and make fun of them for a minute.

It would be the same way if metokurfan33 did a sick headshot in call of duty compared to if he gunned down 10 people at a supermarket

People have visceral reactions to visceral things. They don't take simulated things nearly as seriously and if you want them to you have to convince them.

If you don't try and convince them and instead call them pedophiles for just not caring about what you care about and try and force them to act on your beliefs they're going to treat you like a crazy person or Jack Thompson.
