What exactly was the warcrime in question?
Offending the Magic Brown People and crippling their ability to wage war. Shitlibs have never seen an opportunity to enable melanated violence that they didn't like.
but why does everyone that has that flag some kind of retard.
Because people with Ukraine flags are NAFO queers who want US boots on the ground to own Putin the Big Mean Homophobe. And Rootless Cosmopolitans who want US sovereignty abolished and subjected to "muh international law".

Tbh, how can anyone believe that Iran won't retaliate at lest to some degree? I mean, either they do nothing and get needlessly bombarded by Israel in a provocative manner and forced towards a regime change. Or they retaliate and the same thing happens. I mean, do they even have a choice? All of this feels so fucking engineered.

Tell me you don't know what natural gas is without telling me you don't know what natural gas is

America has more recoverable oil reserves than Saudi Arabia and Russia.

At this point you'd have to be either trolling, or a Zionist.

Zero reason for America to be in the Middle-East, other than Israel.

This is like arguing with children.

Ask Japan to send their troops, they import so much Arabian oil. Israel can go beg Japan.

America can simply fuck off middle east and convert all of their industry into using only light oil from American wells.

Instead, USA is fighting in middle east for Petro dollar dominance.

the more they retaliate, the more followup attacks israel will throw at them. it's an escalation spiral.
the problem for iran here is that they can't win by escalation. they are outgunned, they can't match israels and americas firepower. the more it escalates, the harder iran loses in the end.
the wise move for them would be to accept reality (they are outmatched), drop their ego, take the L now, and start figuring out how to move forward from this point. whether they'll do that i can't say, we'll have to wait and see how this plays out.

Doesn't mean much when the cost to access them is significantly higher. Shale (in the most optimal conditions) was at least double the price of extraction compared to gulf states and russia years ago, and it has to be even worse now.

That would mainly affect oil prices in Europe and Asia. If you have paid any attention to oil prices in Europe and Asia, it's skyrocketed. The biggest benefactor, again, by far, being Japan, literally the 3rd largest economy on Earth lacking in natural resources.

But America doesn't even really import much Arabian oil, the vast majority of oil the Americans use is from America, and a substantial portion from Canada. In fact, America (and Canada) has largely been sheltered from the rise in oil prices compared to the rest of the world. If we're really going to be pedantic about it, Canadians have been the biggest losers on oil since they don't refine their own oil. Americans are immensely privileged in natural resources.

Someone I trust is theorizing the plan of attack from the Iranian axis:

Popular Mobilization Forces:

  • Al Asad Air Base, Iraq,
  • U.S. Consulate Erbil, Iraq,
  • Israel (drones),
Ansar Allah:

  • Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates,
  • Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
  • Israel,
Iran:

  • Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar,
  • Israel

What exactly was the warcrime in question?I like Ukraine, but why does everyone that has that flag some kind of retard.
I support Ukraine because I think Russia is an enemy of the US and appeasing them now will only lead to bigger issues later.

You support Ukraine because the media told you they are oppressed genderspecials being invaded by a white supremacist state.

We are not the same.

Apparently 6 supertankers have performed U-Turns in the Strait of Hormuz in the last 24 hours. Are they actually going to try and close down the Strait ?
That's (economical) suicide for Iran
Anytime someone Jewish does something that's bad for America you get another Jewish person going "actually its good for Israel which is good for America!" or you get another Jewish person going "actually, we Jews are not all the same, I for one hate x, and prefer y! (y also being shitty for Americans)"
It is the same as muddslims or any other easteren shitholistan. Nothing good ever comes from middle east.

What did Israel do that hurt America?
lol.

Remember when they created an online censorship and internet astroturfing organization to suppress opinions and "hate"?

They have a tendency to meddle in other countries affairs through us or just in general too, remember the Iceland debacle where they tried to ban circumcision? Shouldn't countries with their own values be allowed to decide their own laws based on said values? For reference, theres like, 0.008% or 300 total Jews living there, so no, they should not be "represented" honestly if the majority thinks circumcision is baby mutilation even if you, the reader, doesn't personally think so.

The most egregious case thats visible in America, that can't just be handwaived as "well, those are individual Jews or American Jew groups! Not Israel itself!" is the AIPAC, you know, the group which funds majority of politicians who explicitly works in the interest of Israel?

There's a lot of shit these Israel organizations/funders do which hurt America, I'm sure if I brought them up I would just get shills trying to argue single points instead of seeing the over all picture, regardless of what they do specifically, Israel is directly meddling in American politics, policies, and culture, that in general isn't fucking good to have a foreign power meddle in your country, and its people's, affairs.

Although this is true, the issue is both about global access to oil, which is a delicate economic issue for everyone including the empire, and America's ability to preserve it's resources at home for the longer term, once we are regionalized.

I'm convinced the whole thing is a bit of a show to keep oil prices up through August, when there is a critical global financial bottleneck we've barely been passing the past few years. Given the recent drop in oil (but rebound) at another critical junction, this tracks.

How exactly could they do that? They have taken L's since the conflict started. Should they beg for it to stop? Should khameni step down and hang himself? The whole Iranian apperatus will splinter and become a warzone either way. I meant the stated objective of Israel and the US in this conflict was decimating Iran's nuclear capabilities. They have done that. Why even continue?

Rare disclosure: IDF used secret electromagnetic spectrum unit to down dozens of Iranian drones

Lt.-Col. "B." on Monday said that the downing of dozens of Iranian drones was a critical additional layer of defense for Israel against aerial threats.

The IDF on Monday made a rare disclosure, noting that its highly secret 5114th Battalion electromagnetic spectrum unit downed dozens of Iranian drones over the last week or so.

So secret is the unit that even in those rare cases where the IDF has admitted its existence and discussed its activities, it has usually refrained from giving the kids of specifics in terms of adversaries and dates of use which it gave on Monday.

Lt.-Col. "B" on Monday said that the downing of dozens of Iranian drones was a critical additional layer of defense for Israel against aerial threats.

It has been widely reported and the Post has confirmed that Israel has certain limitations regarding interceptors for shooting down enemy drones and missiles, such that using other methods, like the 5114th Battalion, can also help Israel conserve interceptors from a strategic perspective.

Another unique aspect of the unit is that it is jointly operated by a mix of the IDF Communications Command along with the Intelligence and Cyber Defense Directorate, which often get more public attention.

In June 2023, The Jerusalem Post was given a rare inside look into 5114th Battalion, noting an unnamed enemy who had tried to fire on Israeli forces, but could not because they were jammed by Israeli electromagnetic spectrum efforts.
In that instance, the enemy was about to aim and fire a precise form of weaponry at IDF forces in the field when suddenly the IDF could hear the enemy forces asking themselves, “Why aren’t we shooting? Why aren’t we shooting?”

The Post learned that in that still mostly classified instance in which the IDF’s electromagnetic spectrum warfare center was used to disable the enemy force's ability to function, neither the enemy forces nor the IDF forces who were saved had a clue what had transpired.

To act without glory

This is part of the frustration of being part of this elite classified force, its motto is to act without receiving any glory.
Yet, with the unit taking a higher profile role in a summer 2023 two-week-long multi-front drill “Crushing Punch,” Capt. “Y.” from the unit granted a rare interview to the Post.

The unit carries out a variety of activities, but new kinds of direct jamming or confounding enemies’ communications are certainly key aspects.

While both the offensive and defensive capacities of the unit are growing, the offensive capacities are growing at an even faster rate, Y. told the Post in June 2023.

According to Y., “The purpose of the unit is to enable total control over the electromagnetic spectrum, which allows much freer action by the IDF’s various forces in the field.”

“Conceptually, the IDF has recognized that technological advances impact everything. It happens even in the civilian sector where a tractor also works on GPS using a computerized device,” he said.

For example, he said that someone could be traveling and suddenly their radio may pick up the wrong channel and this could interfere with their ability to receive orders and updates from their commander – that is unless the unit helps protect their communications and quickly resolve any disruptions.

During “Crushing Punch,” Y. said the unit “delivered significant results for the IDF’s broader goals, taking control of the electromagnetic spectrum at both strategic and tactical levels.”

According to Y., feedback from soldiers who participated in that 2023 drill was “that they feel a conceptual paradigm shift has occurred,” providing them with new decisive tools in warfare.

“If in the past, discussion about the electromagnetic warfare desk was mostly confined to within the unit, now a broad range of top commanders initiate discussions and planning sessions related to the issues on their own,” said Y.

Y. said the IDF recognizes that our “enemies are always advancing [in electronic warfare as well], but the IDF knows how to handle such threats. We are ready for any scenario. The challenges loom large, but we have the personnel who can make [sense] order out of everything.”

The Crown Prince, Light of The Aryans has made a statement:

Ladies and Gentlemen, members of the international press corps, good afternoon.

Thank you for being here today. This is a historic moment for our nation. I will begin with a brief message to my compatriots in Iran, in Persian, which I will then translate.

“My fellow compatriots, our beloved Iran has been dragged into a devastating conflict, the architect of which is none other than Ali Khamenei and his corrupt, destructive faction. He has driven our nation’s economy to the brink of collapse, plundered our national infrastructure and resources, squandered the nation's wealth on developing nuclear weapons, shattered Iran’s security, and stolen the sovereignty of the Iranian people. This regime is defeated, teetering on the edge of collapse, and must not be allowed to continue. The time has come to end this ruin and begin a new era for Iran. This is a new dawn for Iran’s Lion and Sun.”

Ladies and gentlemen, over the past few days, I’ve spoken with people across Iran from every walk of life. An officer in the armed forces. A mother fleeing Tehran. A factory worker from Tabriz. A young woman activist from the Women, Life, Freedom movement.

These voices represent a nation, embattled but resilient, that is not asking for its freedom. It is fighting for it. From the 1999 student protests to the Green Movement to the 2017 Dey-mah and 2019 Aban-mah uprisings, thousands of Iranians have given their lives in the fight for Iran’s liberation. Today, millions of my brave compatriots continue the fight.

One of their stories moved me deeply.

In September 2022 Javad Heydari was murdered protesting the Islamic Republic’s killing of Mahsa Amini. His sister has continued his fight. She is one of the hundreds of activists the regime has arrested and harassed in recent days.

When security forces raided her home, she cried out:

“Oh God, where shall we go? Where shall we go to flee from your tyranny?”

One by one, her neighbors began to respond to her:

“We’re not going anywhere! They, the regime, are the ones who’ve got to go!”

These words echo in my heart—and should echo in every corridor of power around the world.

Today, it is clearer than ever: The Islamic Republic is collapsing.

Credible reports indicate that Ali Khamenei’s family—and the families of senior regime officials—are making preparations to flee Iran. The regime is on its last legs, in towns and cities across the country. The military is fractured. The people are united. The foundations of this 46-year tyranny are shaking.

This is our Berlin wall moment.

But like all moments of great change, it comes fraught with danger. We stand at a crossroads. One road leads to bloodshed and chaos. The other—to a peaceful and democratic transition.

The difference in these two roads depends on one factor and one factor alone: whether the current regime in Iran is allowed to survive. If the West throws the regime a lifeline there will be more bloodshed and chaos - because this regime will not submit or surrender after it has been humiliated. It will lash out. As long as it is in power, no country and no people are safe: whether on the streets of Washington, Paris, Jerusalem, Riyadh, or Tehran.

There is only one way to achieve peace: a secular, democratic Iran. I am here today to submit myself to my compatriots to lead them down this road to peace and a democratic transition.

I do not seek political power, but rather to help our great nation navigate through this critical hour toward stability, freedom, and justice.

To the people of Iran— I see your courage. I feel your pain. I know you are suffering. I know many of you are afraid for your loved ones, your children, your future.

So I speak to you today with a heavy heart. I worked for years, for decades, so that the scourge of war would never reach the borders of our land. Seeing the images of the people of Tehran forced to flee our beautiful capital, the explosions in Isfahan, the fires along the Persian Gulf, all fill me with pain.

But more than pain, I am filled with anger because this war is the result of the selfishness, hatred, and terror of one man: Ali Khamenei. While he directs this war from the safety of his hidden bunker, he uses our people as human shields.

It is time to end the suffering.

So today, I have a direct message for Ali Khamenei:

Step down. And if you do, you will receive a fair trial and due process of law. Which is more than you have ever given any Iranian.

To other senior regime officials: those of you whose hands are soiled with the blood of the Iranian people, you too will have to face justice. But we will not repeat the mistakes made in other failed transitions. To those of you who are loyal to the Iranian nation, and not the Islamic Republic: there is a future for you in a democratic Iran, if you join the people now. The choice is yours to make.

I know these officers, these soldiers, these brave men exist because they are reaching out to me and telling me they want to be part of this national salvation. But now, greater coordination is needed.

So to that end, today I am announcing that I am establishing a formal channel for military, security, and police personnel to reach out directly to me, my team, and our expanding operation. This is a secure platform to efficiently manage the growing volume of inbound communications and requests from those breaking with the regime and seeking to join our movement.

For those patriotic members of our armed forces, the time is now to join the nation. If you do, I will make sure your service to Iran is not forgotten and is celebrated.

To the international community: Now is the moment to stand with the Iranian people. Do not repeat the mistakes of the past. Do not throw this regime a lifeline.

You are right to be concerned about stopping nuclear weapons and securing regional stability. Only a democratic transition in Iran can ensure these goals are achieved and are lasting.

Take, for example, the destruction of the Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow enrichment facilities. Yes, this has diminished the regime’s domestic nuclear enrichment. But it does not diminish the regime’s intent to acquire and use nuclear weapons. The regime, enraged and emboldened, will be seeking revenge and can acquire nuclear weapons from other rogue regimes like North Korea.

The destruction of the regime’s nuclear facilities alone will not deliver peace.

But the path I offer can. So work with us to ensure a peaceful transition. Now is not the time for hesitation. Now is the time for principled action, from each of us.

46 years ago when my late father and our family were forced to leave Iran, I took an oath to God and to my country: I would not turn my back on Iran or the Iranian people. Every day since, I have dedicated my life to my compatriots. Today, I am here to reiterate it and to put myself at their service.

I am stepping forward to lead this national transition—not out of personal interest but as a servant of the Iranian people.

I have a clear plan for transition and national renewal. Our transition and future democracy will be based on these three core principles:

1. Iran’s territorial Integrity

2. Individual liberties and equality of all citizens

3. Separation of religion and state

The final form of this future democracy we seek will be for the Iranian people to decide in a national referendum.

What I offer is not just a vision for the future of our country but the plan to execute a peaceful, orderly transition. To achieve that, today I am announcing the following initial steps:

First, I will convene a national unity summit.

This gathering will include activists, dissidents, and groups from across the ideological spectrum who agree to the three principles I outlined above. But it will not be limited just to political groups but business leaders, professionals, experts and other groups with influence across Iranian society.

This summit’s objective will be to agree on a roadmap for democratic transition and reconstruction.
Second, in parallel to the democratic process, I am developing an economic plan to rebuild Iran.

We have already launched the Iran Prosperity Project (IPP) , a comprehensive plan for the economic reconstruction and social stabilization of our country in three phases. The Emergency Phase of the first 4-6 months, the Establishment Phase of 18-24 months, and the Normalization Phase which is long term.

In the coming days, my team of experts will publish the plans for the first 100 days after the collapse of the Islamic Republic based on this work.

We are bringing together some of the world’s greatest investors, builders, entrepreneurs, and experts who care about Iran and see its immense potential. They stand ready to put in the expertise, the talent, and the capital to rebuild our nation and turn it into one of the world’s most attractive markets.

Imagine this new Iran. A free and democratic Iran: living at peace with our neighbors, an engine of growth and opportunity in the region, a beacon of culture, innovation, and pride in the world.

It is within our reach.

We are proud, ancient, resilient people.

The task before us Iranians today is no less than the ones faced by the great leaders. The great unifiers, the great builders of our history like Cyrus the Great.

As we embark on the final steps on this path to national revival, to liberation, to peace, we continue to be inspired by him.

To my compatriots: This is our moment. I am with you. Let us build this new Iran together.

Thank you.

America is fighting in the Middle East to prevent strategic control of the world energy market from falling into the hands of Russia, China, or the mullahs. Staying the richest and most powerful requires making a lot of hard decisions about the fates of other countries. As the world's largest navy and ultimate guarantor of international shipping lanes, it's quite important that the US have a significant presence fucking everywhere to guarantee the basic safety of the system of international trade that everyone is dependent on. America is a global power. Its interests are global. Being fucking myopic, pigheaded, and irreconcilable to reality (not to mention retarded strategically) is why isolationists don't get far in national politics, because their core assumptions about the world are ostrich-type assumptions. So what if we'll be safe from international terror and there's no actual MAD threat conceivable if we just tell the world to go fuck itself and take care of its own problems? We'll be so much fucking poorer for letting Russia, China, and a bunch of pirates set the terms of global commerce. We'll have to watch our allies and our money and our bases get buttfucked by retarded, poor, inept regimes rushing to fill a power vacuum. No one liked watching the US pull out of Saigon or Kabul. You think us evacuating a bunch of bases and handing it over to the bunch of faggots, chucklefucks, and rapists in Europe, Asia, and Africa is going to benefit America? Why? As I can see it's a convoluted, counterintuitive path to benefit, if there is one.

Why should the US offload the privileges of global empire because the responsibilities suck? Why be poor and weak? It didn't work for the Qing dynasty, why should it work for America?
