One could hope but then again that's almost every politician in government wanting to suck off Israel for that sweet campaign money. The shift within the last year however with more and more people in the mainstream Republican party criticizing the actual value of the American/Israel relationship has been a welcome relief.

Look at it this way: Trump's limited strikes just took away Israel's greatest talking point: "Iran is two weeks away from nukes!". They can't use that any more so the chance of future US involvements is greatly reduced.
