Actual places in Finland. As far as I am aware, back when Russians were invading them, they used to send out their cartographers to Finland who were questioning random locals about what this and that was called, and so on. Some of the locals would, naturally, become fed-up and give them random yet frustration-fueled names made up on the spot. Most of the names stuck and this is the result.
