Following new visa rules, US embassy in India asks students to make social media public

US President Donald Trump’s administration on Wednesday ordered the resumption of student visa appointments but significantly tightened its social media vetting in a bid to identify any applicants who may be hostile towards the country, according to an internal State Department cable reviewed by Reuters.

US consular officers are now required to conduct a “comprehensive and thorough vetting” of all student and exchange visitor applicants to identify those who “bear hostile attitudes toward our citizens, culture, government, institutions, or founding principles”, said the cable, which was dated June 18 and sent to US missions on Wednesday
Aaaand the example they gave for violations is Palestine Hamas support. I guess it helps keep out mooselam pajeets who are especially full of Peace due to living in Modi's India. Here hoping hindutva rape apes like "Hindvbvll" , "Dalitrapershankar" etc talking about the aryan world order and brahmin IQs are also flagged. BJP is up Trump's ass but I think he, like with Israel is starting to appreciate what duplicitous little shits they are. Could also be pressure on India who are desperate to get unemployed excess males out of the country, the US-India trade deal still hasn't been hashed out and I think the deadline for the 26% tariffs are either today or tomorrow. He also put his finger on the scale in favor of Pakistan during the whole flare up over Kashmir a couple months ago.

Sure! I'd be pissed sure, and if they mistreat, that'll definitely be a lawsuit.Again, as long as i'm not tortured or dead, being detained is not that big of a deal.It happens all the time, with non ICE operations.Can you admit they were masks because of the doxing though? and the raids are more because sanctuary cities and NGOs are EXPLICITLY fighting against deportations?

They've had masks before the doxing, though. They've been wearing masks for a few years now. And yes, I was against it before Trump was president, too.

The masks themselves are not so bad, it's that they don't identify themselves. How is the person being arrested not to know that it's some random kidnapping?

god there is something truly holy about an internet discussion with so much genuine hate that you have moved beyond hyperbolic insults to shit designed to punch. Its got so much energy and passion, its like watching all those lemmings run off the cliff because there nature compels them to.

just remember we post on the same fourm for a reason, If we randomly ran into eachother IRL without ever having talked on here prior we would probably get along better than with non farmers even without knowing we each were.
