It's not a condition of no bond, but a condition of his release period. Ik in this case it seems kinda comical, but imagine in an actual harassment case if the harasser could just fork over a few extra grand and get to immediately continue their harassment with no consequence. Respectfully speaking, if you were to replace Nick Rekieta with Billy Mitchell in your post, you immediately sound like the average commenter on a Karl Jobst video from a year ago, and we all see how that played out. I don't know what Aaron expected as he has been pretty blatant in violating his release conditions. He mentioned Kayla either directly or indirectly on many, many occasions since being told not to mention her. Aaron already pleaded guilty to violating the HRO taken out by his ex-wife by mentioning her indirectly on his show. The issue is that Aaron has a serious and escalating problem with going after women he has grudges against on his show (this is why he lost his actual radio show). He also has a compulsive need to show the Internet that he is winning, even at the risk of lying or violating legal obligations, and he doesn't think more than a day or two ahead.

Nick is probably kicking himself right now because if Kayla had taken out an HRO violating that would not only be a criminal offense it'd be a violation of Aaron's probation conditions for his previous conviction as well which could have triggered up to 90 days in jail in Sherburne County.
