You can buy like 500 rounds for $20 and with a suppressor its incredibly fun. Gets very very dirty though. If you’re into prepping, 22lr can kill nearly anything with proper shot placement so it’s a widely available and inexpensive round to bulk buy and store. Any poorfag could buy 10,000+ rounds and stock them for when things go to shit. Technically you don’t need a semiautomatic but it would make follow up shots easier. A 10/22 is dirt cheap and the Mk IV is a well regarded .22 pistol. Also you can buy a cheapass red dot and they’ll hold zero since it barely recoils.

Someone needs to find the Paul Harrell video that talks about ammo weights. I think he even said he would carry a 22 rifle and pistol in a TEOTWAWKI situation.

last week episode when josh went over styixinhammer666 DV shit jogged my noggen about how people like police or fuck bartenders/bouncers regard domestic shit as super dangerous. Theres a reason its all manditory

This is it really. They're good for range time. For example you're lucky to find 9mm for under $0.20/round shipped these days, but it's still fairly easy to find .22LR for $0.05/round or less. It's good for practice to have a .22LR version of what you plan to use for defense to keep the fundamentals sharp.
