Yeah this shit is great and I thought MDE World Peace was massively overrated in part because I really didn't understand many of the sketches, maybe I should rewatch. But episode 2 was the best thing I've seen Sam Hyde do. Especially liked the Doctor skits but most of all the Porsche parody.

9/10 for me, might be biased because Fishtank got my Lolcow thread for Bam Margera featured. But no matter what I was entertained. Also was the episode 1 preview vastly different than the full episode 1? I don't remember "Fred Hyde" rambling about wanting to "see 240 lb men play football" or whatever he was incomprehensible there.

The only criticism I really have is that a few sketches could have been trimmed down a minute or two and still have been just as good
if not better. In particular the Pedo Firefighter one was really funny in premise and performance by Shultz and Nick, but it also dragged on ever slightly too long where it was getting old by the end of it. Horny Family Feud not being a full on sketch, but snippets of Sam in shoe polish black face doing Steve Harvey witticisms stuffed between a few sketches was brilliant though, could have been way more annoying and forced.

Edit: Y'know come to think of it have we seen any sketches from that "leaked script" that was posted her about a year ago? I remember a lot of them not being that funny, and was Pre-Charls reconciliation, but there were a few solid ones in there.

Just adding to the pile to agree that this was significantly better than episode 1. Erik is always great and it was nice to see Charls back. Editing could be tighter but this is still a step up. That said, did anyone get the impression that the Family Feud segments were mean to be part of a proper sketch like the daddy dom one that just got cut into something more salvageable? Not that I'm complaining; the daddy dom sketch helped make the first episode a slog for how long it went on.

I kind of got that vibe too, no way they got Airsoftfatty out for such a blink and you miss it cameo, but tbh I think it ended up way funnier chopped up like little snippets from a commercial for a local TV station. The real nut of the bit is Sam doing Steve Harvey in jet black blackface and a lime green leather zoot suit, which is much funnier in smaller doses sprinkled throughout the episode rather then dragged out doing a full family feud parody (beating a dead horse anyway.)

I thought it worked as a non-sequitor. Like to me Sam’s version of blackface is just so absurd it did make sense when they were telling the Shower Cap girl that he was playing some Star Wars style alien. I like the idea that the audience of randos were just laughing along with the applause like Pavlovian Dogs.

I was wondering when did Charls and Sam patch things up?

Blackface is always funny when it’s done out of sincere hate and not ironic and I hope there’s more in the show.

It also seems like they filmed it just as commerical bits because real family feud has two teams on each side and the set only had the one but the lore that nigger extras chimping out over it cutting the bit is much funnier

charls had a breakdown after almost dying in a tornado, he was live after and he was implicating sam in the sabotage of world peace, nick, charls and eric's future in acting. he said to look at how many of sam's friends/associates have comited suicide. after, they got in contact and alledgedly settled it.
