FRISCO, Texas — Karmelo Anthony, the teen accused of fatally stabbing another teen, Austin Metcalf, at a Frisco track meet, has been indicted on a murder charge, officials said.

A grand jury indicted Anthony on Tuesday, according to the Collin County District Attorney's Office. A murder charge is punishable by 5-99 years or life in prison.

Anthony, a 17-year-old former student of Frisco Centennial High School, was arrested and charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of Frisco Memorial High School student athlete Austin Metcalf in April at a track meet in Frisco ISD's Kuykendall Stadium. He was released from jail later that month after his bond was reduced from $1 million to $250,000.

Anthony has claimed self defense in the case, which garnered national attention, heightening racial tensions and raising security concerns among everyone connected to the case, including both families and Judge Angela Tucker, who is presiding over the case.

"We know this case has struck a deep nerve — here in Collin County and beyond," Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis said in a statement Tuesday. "That’s understandable. When something like this happens at a school event, it shakes people to the core. But the justice system works best when it moves with steadiness and with principle. That’s what we’re committed to. And that’s exactly what this case deserves."

Anthony's attorney, Mike Howard, called Tuesday's indictment "an expected and routine step in the legal process."

"Karmelo and his family are confident in the justice system and the people of Collin County to be fair and impartial," Howard said. "Of course, Karmelo looks forward to his day in court. It's only in a trial that a jury will hear the full story, one that includes critical facts and context that the grand jury simply didn't get to hear."

Howard again raised Anthony's self defense claim in his statement Tuesday.

"We expect that when the full story is heard, the prosecution will not be able to rule out the reasonable doubt that Karmelo Anthony may have acted in self defense," Howard said. "Self defense is a fundamental right guaranteed every American."

Metcalf's father, Jeff Metcalf, told WFAA in a statement that he's "pleased that we are moving forward."

“With the first degree murder indictment, it now goes into the court system," Jeff Metcalf said. "I fully believe that justice will be served for Austin Metcalf. I look forward to the forthcoming trial. But it will never bring my son back.“

Under his bond conditions, Anthony is required to wear an ankle monitor and ask permission to leave his home. If Anthony violates any conditions of his bond, he will have to return to jail. He graduated and received his high school diploma in May, but did not attend the ceremony, WFAA previously reported.

Anthony allegedly confessed to the stabbing immediately after he was arrested, claiming he was defending himself from Metcalf, officials said, as WFAA previously reported.

A witness reportedly told police that Metcalf told Anthony he had to move out from under the Memorial High School tent. Anthony responded by opening his bag and reaching inside, WFAA previously reported.

"Touch me and see what happens," Anthony told Metcalf, according to a witness.

Metcalf reportedly then touched Anthony, the witness told a responding officer, and Anthony told Metcalf to punch him and see what would happen. Soon afterward, the witness said, Metcalf reportedly grabbed Anthony to tell him to move. At which point, the affidavit continues, Anthony reportedly pulled out what the witness recalled as a black knife and stabbed Metcalf once in the chest before running away.

The deep tension sparked by the incident has raised concerns that the case may be tried outside of Collin County. Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis told WFAA that the judge will make that decision at the time of trial.

Was it worth it telling the dude to move out of a tent? If a 6 foot 220 lbs kid would lay hands on me I would most likely defend myself.
Self defense does not apply here. The video shown to the grand jury proves it, hence their decision to indict the nigger. Try to keep up, you fucking retard.

The Anthony family are going the Russell Greer route and pleading poverty! After a very public Give-Me-Bux campaign! Absolutely wild, man! I sure hope this exposes them to some kind of fraud investigation, because you don't get to plead poverty to the court simply because you don't want to have to spend your money on legal expenses.

Where did the money go?

Chainz & rangs.

Weave and lean.
Grillz
Makin' it rain at the strip club

Think his parents will even bother topping off his commissary account or just let him rot while they scarf bottomless shrimp at Red Lobster and buy Yeezys?

There's a YouTube prison grifter who's done time in the Texas pen and his content has been exclusively 'what will happen to Karmelo when he finally ends up in jail'. (OK, it's actually this guy.) He thinks he has but two options. Either his parents will be paying to support a shedload of prison niggers because the world knows how much free money they've had and they're going to have to share the love if he doesn't want his cheeks split on a nightly basis.

If the money's all gone, he's going to have to join one of the gangs and he'll be expected to put in work. Because he'll get a life sentence, he'll have nothing to lose. But he might not find it quite so easy as stabbing up the upper middle class white boy at the track meet.

As of July 2023, the settlement consists of a dilapidated campground, and its founders are working on establishing roads and utility services before beginning building residences. Currently, the settlement consists of more than 500 acres (200 hectares) throughout two parcels.
You see Black people failing at building self-sufficiency, I see soft activists with little practical experience failing.
Then again, aren't almost all preppers non-Black.

Am I going crazy? It already was featured, earlier today right above the recent Ross/Mald drama. Guess it got un-featured (or I'm just retarded).

Call me crazy, I thought it was too. I thought maybe I'd clicked on it in Gunt chat. Maybe it was de-featured to avoid the public hub-bub that will come.

Then again, aren't almost all preppers non-Black.

How's it going at Freedom, Georgia in 2025?

Challenges and Criticism: Posts on X from 2024 suggest slow progress, with some claiming no permanent dwellings or infrastructure have been built as of May 2024. These posts describe the project as aiming for a “segregated” community, though the initiative’s official stance emphasizes inclusivity for Black families and allies, not exclusion.

UH-OH!

No permanent structures or a formal city charter have been established yet, and the project remains in the planning and fundraising phase, with over $100,000 raised via GoFundMe and Indiegogo for initial developments. The vision continues to focus on sustainability, economic self-sufficiency, and cultural enrichment, but full realization is likely years away.

In fairness, it's really easy to get an indictment. The joke is that it's so easy to get an indictment that you could indict a ham sandwich.

During a grand jury proceeding, the burden of proof is probable cause, as opposed to a criminal trial's beyond a reasonable doubt.

For a grand jury, that means that, when presented with the prosecution's evidence and without rebuttal from the accused, if they believe a crime possibly took place and the accused possibly committed the crime, he gets indicted. They just need the possibility that something illegal happens, not hard proof that it actually did.

Now, I think he's cooked barring some truly shocking exculpatory evidence (or a nigger juror), but an indictment in and of itself doesn't mean he's automatically guilty.

Self defense is a retarded defense to make, honestly. A self defense claim is saying "Yes, I deliberately applied deadly force to that person, resulting in that person's death, but I was privileged to do so under self defense." If the jury doesn't believe your self defense claim, all you're left with is "Yes, I deliberately applied deadly force to that person, resulting in that person's death, but I was privileged to do so under self defense." and that sounds a lot like a confession of being a stabby nigger.

Inb4 denied a court appointed lawyer and instead of selling the cadillacs and the lexus they just have him represent himself.
THE EVIDENCE WILL SHOOOOOOOW

Preppers are people who anticipate further forward than their next three meals. This was a necessary survival trait in European winters, and absolutely not needed in equatorial Africa.
There are black preppers out there (there was one in the first season of the ‘Preppers’ TV show) but a lot of black people are used to living hand-to-mouth and being fed by Daddy Government.
It’s probably just my in-group bias, but I think that whites have better access to resources, more room and opportunity to store them, and a greater inclination to do so. Blacks would rather have some guns and ammo and go raiding as that takes less planning and allows for greater mobility. Which has the greater advantage is purely down to which is better resourced, more tactically aware, and more willing to let the bodies hit the floor.
I do think that in a SHTF situation, well prepared white communities are going to be digging a lot of mass graves.

A self defense claim is saying "Yes, I deliberately applied deadly force to that person, resulting in that person's death, but I was privileged to do so under self defense."
One of the pillars of self-defense is proportionality. If Karmelo was getting punched in the face or attacked with a weapon this is a gray area. Stabbing someone to death for touching you or trying to manhandle you out of a common area is not proportional. Leaving aside the commission of a felony by carrying a knife at a track meet, the argument of provocation (“touch me again and see what happens”), fleeing the scene, and Karmelo asking the arresting officer if his actions could be justified as self-defense- all of which count against a self-defense argument- his actions were obviously not in line with the threat on offer.

FUCKING CLASSIC

Black people are just so fucking funny. Imagine if Black Americans had their own country and we could just watch them from afar instead of having to be in the middle of all of their bullshit. We need to ship them all to Mississippi and then treat it like an open air wildlife preserve we can record documentaries in.
It's called Liberia and every single one should have been sent there in the 1800s.

I bet the courts will grant the po old black boy a public defender. He beez broke ensheit. That way his parents can keep all the gibs me dats. Plus, "he wuz being bullied". He dindu nuffins and beez a guy boy.

IIRC Red Lobster had majority control fall into the hands of their seafood supplier, a Thai company, who wanted to maximize sales of their shrimp. They didn’t give a shit what happened to the chain as long as they were selling ridiculous amounts of shrimp and other farmed seafood.
Incidentally, Thailand has some of the worst overfishing in the world to supply fish meal to their seafood farms. Thai bugman ecological indifference and greed plus nigger gluttony literally destroys oceans and businesses.
Damn I didn’t know my country contributed to the downfall of a restaurant chain. The overfishing in Thailand is unfortunately third world country moment of ineffective government controlling the fishermen + Chinese meddling and bribery. It is an issue we the citizens bring up to the government whenever we can, but it’s been two decades at least, and yet nothing happened as per usual. Voting doesn’t matter here anyway because if our version of The Power That Be doesn’t like the winner, it’s military coup time. I’m always jealous of the US government system because of this.
