I can attest to this. My friend's atheist elderly mother fell down a flight of stairs. The neighborhood hasidic kids heard her crying for help and ran and got help from the jewbulance which is stationed right in the neighborhood. They swooped her up and got her to the hospital. They are a licensed ambulance service with real EMT's and agreements with the hospitals. My friend said they never sent any bill and the EMT's checked up on her and brought her food the first few days after she got out of the hospital.
