No this has always been a thing, there is even a math formula going back since at least the mid 90s of half your age + 7
I find a bit bizarre that people on such a male-centric, anti-establishment, free speech message board would give heed to such an arbitrary and meaningless "rule" that is largely propagated by femcels.
Had my parents been aware of and followed it, then they'd have never got together, I'd have never been born, and they wouldn't still be happily married 40+ years later.
Albeit, they met in real life, not on the internet...
