Honestly: if Jet (who seems to be the main show runner, Sam doesn't look like he's involved outside of hosting the show/hyping it up) steps down, they need to get a actual showrunner who might be able to smooth talk HBO or something into funding it in exchange for them putting the episodes on Max or something. (You need to get someone with connections though, try and get past the whole "Oh SaM HyDe's A WhItE SuPrEmAciSt!!!" during meetings.)

Hype it up as a "Big Brother meets Fear Factor" show, talk about how you want to get the averages and below average people in society for a chance at fame, etc. if you absolutely can't stay in New England, go to the Midwest or oklahoma, where you can rent out a large particle of land and not have to worry about neighbors. Invest in some insurance for the place, get custom fiber cable internet to the place if you need to cause starlink is shit, and tell the police about the show.

havent seen that show, but i saw someone say that scene in particular is in the context of a weight being lifted off the character's shoulders, ie the show being canned. so it could possibly be a doompost but that could be looking too deep into it.
