I hate that capitalizing "Black" has become standard
To be fair they're capitalizing it as an object, not as an adjective
As in "He is *a* Black" as opposed to "His skin color is black"
But as with all empty activism behaviors like these, there's the stated purpose, usually invented as an excuse after the fact by more intelligent whites trying to come up with some kinda reasoning for why they do what they do, which in this case may be some nonsense about how Capital-B Blacks are a unified culture yadda yadda
And then there's the actual reason for why blacks themselves do it- cause they're petty
"Yo muffuga why dafak dem British and Chinese and Italianos n shiiz gets da big lettah buh ass blacks dont? Gibsmedat big lettah, and whitey can't have! Neeneer neener me has somefing whitey doesn't!"
This is a common pattern, blacks do something for a childish reason like pettiness or stupidity, and all the more complex excuses are thought up by someone else
