American libertarians seem to be stuck in 2013 era politics, where it’s all about having “principles” and such. But there of course is a problem with that. It is not 2013 anymore, people are tired of this “live and let live” bullshit when that exact mentality is what lead us to having 2 million Haitians eating pets in the first place. The average American libertarian does not view America as a country with borders or ideas, they view it as an economic zone they can rape into getting as much money from it as possible. They view the nations people as cogs that can be replaced by forgiven workers who will gladly work for 1 penny just so they can make 1% more money. They view the lands of the country as profit they can cut down and sell to the highest forgein bidder. That’s why they don’t won’t that bill to pass it has nothing to do with debt it has everything to do with cheap workers. But hay at least they have their principles.

In Make America Healthy Again News:
J.M. Smucker plans to remove synthetic dyes from its jams and other products by the end of 2027

Smucker owns brands like Hostess, JIF and Uncrustables

I guess trade offs were made since RFK isn't banning Big Pharmaceutical television commercials.

The Senate is voting on final passage of Trump's OBBB. JD Vance is in the chamber just in-case he needs to cast a tie-breaking vote:

The House will have to take up the Senate version of the bill since it's different than what the House passed and sent to the Senate.

The House will be in session tomorrow morning.

Collins and Murkowski deserve the nunnery.

*provided it doesn't interfere with advertising revenue streams

I fucking hate this. Yeeting pharma ads should be a slam dunk. Literally no one except ad execs and pharma execs gives a shit or cares about them. Half the time, you don't even know what the medication is for. Just that it has a shitload of side effects and apparently will make me happy washing apples in the sink.

Christi Noem just said live that over a million people have self deported already
I mean would you rather get $1000, free flight home, leave on your own schedule, and be allowed to apply for citizenship?

Or would you rather have your door imploded and tackled to the ground by 10+ fully geared men, sent to prison in another country while they sort stuff out, and be banned from the US for life?

If anything this is doing a wonderful job of separating the smart people from the dumb/career criminal ones (I don't think you get the free stuff if you have an open warrant)

Shouldn't have bitten the hand that fed you, Musk.
Given Musk's purchase of Twitter was a big advantage in Trump's favor in the 2024 election, that's an odd thing to say.

And the capacity for him to use the largest social media site in the world however he personally wants, leads me to think it's probably going to be incredibly fucking funny to see what comes of this feud for Trump.

It's over 130+ days since that 'day 1 release' of the Epstein files, by the way. I'd love if Musk's retarded ass would start screaming about that again since he's got such a large megaphone. It'd be even funnier if he put choice segments from the recent Patel JRE appearance on blast to drive the point home.

This is one of the reasons people struggle to take liberals, seriously. If you go by what they say about the big bill the bill should be the end of society as we know it in America and cause for utter complete panic. But hey, while discussing that it’s very important to also discuss just how quickly you amassed the amount of imaginary Internet points that you got.

bibi is staying from monday to thursday, your slash fiction needs to account for that
You're expecting logic out of the people who chose to listen to the Boomer Shitlib HHH, while being openly Jewish?

Come on CTR, I thought you knew better after "WW3: It's totally happening this time"

You just don't know what the fuck you are talking about. The previous election (Beshear's first term) Matt Bevins lost by around 5 thousand votes, and the the last one the republicans ran a race mixing nigger with deep ties to Mitch McConnell. He worked in Mitch's office when he got his start years ago, and he was also tied to the Breanna Taylor shit. He had no chance to win, and the retards in kentucky voted for this mitch clone in the primary instead of the other two good options. Kentucky has a super majority in both the state senate and the house, Beshear is an outlier and nothing more.
Isn't Beshear a part of an entrenched generational political family? He glides on name recognition alone?

The discussion upthread about red states and Rinos--there's just as much corruption if not more in those Republican parties as there is in the blue states Dem ones. The only way to fix it is to fix the local and state wide politics, that will take a long time and a lot of will.

I'm torn on this. If the bill has been decimated as much as this thread has said it has, it's turned into an ugly bill. I know Trump needs a legislative win and it's unfortunate he--and we--are stuck with this garbage.

On the other side, this has exposed that Congress is still the worst branch. Most corrupt, most self-aggrandizing, and absolutely no consideration or care for the country. And that's saying a lot considering our judiciary. The only way people are going to know what's going on is if they see it for themselves, and they see who has outed themselves by what they prioritize. Massie and Paul in particular, who larp like revolutionaries but are just like cranky old men who constantly complain but don't do anything to make things better.

I feel like part of the America First agenda should he providing health care for the citizens of the US.

Why should I have kids if I have to literally beg and plead a mega corporation to accept my insurance claim and they have a financial incentive to deny it?
Good luck with that. All the healthcare CEOs who have Trump's ear will fight tooth and nail against it.

Even if it's just providing health care for the citizens of the USA, and ONLY THE CITIZENS; if it comes from the government, the private healthcare business will see it as a threat and will have all their friends and colleagues in the Senate shut it down.

I mean, who the fuck would sign up for United Health Care if Uncle Sam gives it to you for free?
