Hrm, she did actually try to extend some sort of indication of hair texture to other places on the body. That's actually been in a few pieces lately, nice to see that she actually absorbs some criticism (even if its only to further her wierd insecurities about needing to the blackest black person who ever blacked).

Unfortunately, it isn't working very well. When she actually does match the texture she ends up with poo-dreads (like on the cat-thing's tail), and when she does what she's done here it still looks like two radically different hair types, it's just that the second one is now wavy instead of straight.

It's just hard to translate that degree of textured hair on an animal without it looking matted and dirty. This is sort of a damned if she does, damned if she doesnt thing.

The problem is she's going about the texture thing the entire wrong way. First of all, it was a mistake to try and realistically portray herself or any black person for that matter, as an animal that isn't exactly known for having textured or curly fur. There is, however, a mutation that makes this possible apparently,



but as you can see, this rabbit still has a very clean silhouette. In order for Autumn to portray this type of fur texture, she would need to actually paint it on to the character rather than just draw random tufts jutting off the body. And either she's too lazy or her rendering skills are not good enough to do that.
