This is just the vote on accepting the changes the Senate made. They're not getting to the FINAL final vote for a while. There are an insane number of procedural layers.
Trump won't let them just completely kill it. I don't know what he'll threaten them with, but his ego would refuse to let them torpedo his first big piece of legislation.

In other words, they're voting on whether to vote on the BBB as amended by the Senate. If this resolution were to pass (looks like not, 216 to 216 tie), they would then fucking debate for another solid hour before actually voting on the BBB.

it wouldn't be dead. my understanding is that the house can vote to make changes to the bill to get more support, but any changes they make will need to go back to the senate again for another vote. so that would take some time.
