I don't know if there's really much advice to give in CoE. Game is heavily reliant on good rng for your starting resources, and having a defensible zone of the map that you can reasonably protect. If you have a deathball it's not a terrible idea to march it around conquering enemy strongholds and let them trade for your econ territories, but if you're getting ganged up on by the AI it can be pretty brutal on a large map.
I'm going to be level with you, Dominions is more overly complex but CoE is straight up RNG bullshit especially with vanilla. You are probably not doing anything terribly wrong, there are times where you are just fucked and from the get-go with CoE. I've had animals wander into my base while expanding and I insta lost by like turn 3.

Nice fight good trade offs from what im seeing here. Those giants of the lost tribe did a lot of work, i havent played feminie yet seriously so I didnt know they were strong enough to do that and figured they were more like Ashdod non sacreds. Guess you buffed them well
Yes, that is the only thing that makes Feminie's troops worth a damn otherwise they get shredded by most other nations. I still think they need to be buffed slightly. The early game is pretty shit and is one of the reasons I nearly failed against Ulm.
