Fiscal conservatives have been doomsdaying about the debt for as long as I can remember and we are still here
man i remember the dooming in this thread and the previous version of it when Biden won, talking about how the debt was going to cause the country to collapse and how we needed Trump back to help fix the economy and reduce the debt (something he inflated in his first term)

This bill was the moment where House and Senate Republicans had to decide if they served their constituents, or if they served Donald Trump. The answer, of course, is that they're unprincipled spineless cowardly faggots who serve Donald Trump. It doesn't matter, the bulk of their constituents are so fucking stupid that they'll vote for the same people fucking them over when the next election rolls around as long as Trump tells them to.

They know how unpopular this bill is, that's why the medicaid cuts kick in on December 31st 2026, it's a last desperate bit of trickery to try and save as many Republican seats as possible in next year's midterms, and then use the economic fallout of this bill over the next decade to blame inevitably shitty economy on the Democrat that's going to replace Trump in the next election cycle.

This cycle has been going on since the fucking 90s.
>Republicans inflate the debt ceiling to benefit their rich buddies and fuck over the poor,
>Americans realize they've put their hands on a burning hot stove and elect a Democrat to clean up their mess,
>Democrats clean up a decent amount of mess without making too much noise,
>the media gets bored and the voters tune out,
>the left starts to pick itself apart over momentary pet causes,
>Americans decide to put their hand on the hot stove again,
>fuck themselves over for a generation,

repeat
You seem mad, I’d suggest eating some poop and relaxing.

Are you saying illegals are Holocaust victims? Nigga LMAO
honestly thats funny enough im happy to go with it

but no I mean, and please try and follow me here, hitler did his best to get rid of ALL the jews dident he? like fucker used all the resources of europe to wipe them out

AND GUESS WHAT? idk if u been to Europe but there is still fucking jews

so I share those imagines to illustrate how hard it is to remove that many people even when you use "unscrupulous" methods

we could have trains running day and night and it will still take decades IF its possible witch hsiotry has never shown its possible to move even a fraction of that many people, those that have tried like turkey and china with a FRACTION of the numbers (kurds/armernians and Uyghurs respectively) deal with such HUGE expenses just to ATTEMPT to suppress the issue.

Guess what even if you could deport all 12 gorillian of them magically you just bought yourself a first rate border crisis, even assuming your the most heartless of heartless fuck, the sheer plague that would be wrought on our southern states by the 10 million carcasses 10 feet beyond the border would be BIBLICAL, then the bugs would come then after that the stench would make thousands of square miles uninhabitable for years.

COPE HARDER.

AMERICA WON TODAY.
I really hate Team Sports politics. Trump "won" by tightening his grip on the GOP's nutsack to get a bill most of them disagreed with passed. People are going to lose their jobs and healthcare, America's debt became $4 Trillion dollars more impossible to pay off, and it's going to be our problem to suffer through and desperately try and solve because the boomers who got us in this mess in the first place are on track to die or leave office before this bill takes full effect.

Not defending the bill because I have no clue what version passed but realistically has there ever been a realistic chance at paying off our debt?

Okay welfare bro. Sorry your worthless selves have to suffer more.

To fellow Kiwi's -

For children born between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2028, the federal government will deposit $1,000 into the Trump account, funded by the Department of the Treasury, as part of a “newborn pilot program,” according to the Senate Finance Committee’s proposed text released on Monday.

To be eligible to receive the initial seed money, a child must be a U.S. citizen at birth and both parents must have Social Security numbers.

If a parent or guardian does not open an account, the Secretary of Treasury will establish an account on the child’s behalf. Parents may also opt out.

Start fucking and popping out those kids to get free money.

I also have no idea why you guys want BBB to pass so badly. It's going to fuck you and everyone else who isn't rich. It's also an ultra-cringe name

Until congressional representatives in the House and Senate are capable of bipartisanship and passing much smaller legislation instead of sweeping omnibus bills, we're stuck with one gigantic bill passed through budget reconciliation regardless of who has the slim majority in Congress. "Build Back Better" is hardly superior to the "Big Beautiful Bill," but between the two, Trump's BBB having a provision on no tax being taken from overtime directly benefits me.
