As for the ongoing debate about "phonebooking" or "doing journalism", the girl wasn't an alog and probably not a ween either, "doing journalism" on her was unnecessary in my honest opinion. I recall no such thing from other threads where fellow kiwis "phonebooked" people who took pictures with one of the cows, although I don't follow that much.

The best answer I could give is that we just didn’t grow up looking at lolcows for the most part. Growing up, people like CWC,Nick Bates, King Cobra, etc were not something we saw on the Internet growing up because we were little kids. As we’ve gotten older and our personalities and interests have developed, we learn about those people and see how strange they are. We hear about people like “The man in the Pickle Suit” or “Clyde Cash” and how they’re legendary but never about who ALOG is or how much people would get crapped on for calling Chris’ house and scream “JULAY”. They think there aren’t rules to herding lolcows and that they can be let rampant while also pulling on the tail. They didn’t grow up learning the rules of the internet and if they did like I was, than they would probably be on Kiwifarms typing up a retarded comment explaining why GenZ people love cow touching and then are shocked when they’re associated with the cow.
