Timing wise, yes, but Nick has previously heavily hinted on X that there's a message that will prove the felony harassment upgrade and that the prosecutor had that message. In other words, Nick was thinking Kayla sending the message and then Toe sharing the nude, is in itself harassment.

It's a weak argument, as until Keanu blabbed there was no way to know Kayla would find out, so you'd need to show that Aaron intended for Kayla to find out, or at least could forsee it. The girlfriend of the person you sent it to and with no prior contact with Kayla is quite the fucking stretch, especially when Keanu herself said the motive was to bro out.

It's just an example of his Swiss cheese thinking.

Nick can defeat the HRO in two ways.

1. Prove the claims aren’t true.

That’s not going to work for Nick. The stuff Aaron said in the petition mostly happened — it’s all over social media and pretty easy to verify.

2. Show that even if the claims are true, Aaron wasn’t actually scared or harassed — and only filed this after things went bad for him.

Here is Nick's bestshot. Aaron has said on video several times that he’s not afraid of Nick. If that’s true, then Aaron needs to show that something changed after those videos — that something happened to make him actually fearful. Otherwise, it just looks like payback.

He’d probably try to use the Stoney’s visit or the gym incident as the turning point. But unless he can clearly show that those events crossed a line and made him feel threatened, the court might see the HRO as more of a revenge move than a legit safety issue — especially since he filed it after breaking his own release conditions.

Instead Nick is trying to focus on Aaron's own questionable obsession with him. It's not an effective method to toss a HRO. It could just be good at showing mutual no contact. "He started it" isn't a get out of jail free card on the HRO.
