As much of a prima donna as Trump is, he still knows the importance of not burning bridges, especially with someone who's been helpful in the past and might be helpful still in the future. He's probably being amicable with Elon because he worked well in the past and wants to work again in the future, whereas he's going scorched earth against Massie because Massie has provided jack shit in comparison.

My normal method was to always just take rests during fuel stops. That fucker would go almost 600 miles before needing to stop for fuel.

The best part is mine can recharge its full-EV-mode battery while rolling downhill (above and beyond the regular hybrid battery) and can even be told to start the ICE to charge the battery to 80% even if it's not seemingly the most efficient. I'm pretty sure most plug-ins will do that. The benefit is if you're driving on the freeway on a road trip, switch that mode on while running at high speed to charge up the battery (the engine's already running at cruising speed anyway and you barely feel the difference when that extra bit of load hits), then switch to full EV when you stop at rest areas and for breaks. You won't use any gas running around in town, ultimately improving overall mileage.
