Depends on what you are trying to escape. It is a more complicated process doing a cross border lawsuit, but Canada isn't just some magical safe haven that absolves you from any legal troubles. Boils down to how bad the people after you are trying to pursue.

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt (more so Dad than Harley). He'd been around since the first event and was even one of the more talked about parts of it. For him this was an opportunity to get his name out there and get consistent money. Would make sense that he would defend the event, up until the money dried up. At that point Anisa and Ian's antics weren't just affecting their popularity, they directly affected Dad's ability to make a living, not to mention they would constantly shit talk the guy behind his back. I think it was more that he could compartmentalize it until now. Sometimes you gotta do deals with people you don't like for the sake of your own bottom line. Additionally, Anisa will have a hard time monkeybranching to anyone who is up to her inflated standards and I doubt Ian has it in him to initiate the divorce. Even if we pretend Ian isn't completely buckbroken and raped, he knows Anisa will do anything to make herself look like the victim while siphoning away whatever money he has left. The only way I see a divorce happening is if Anisa comes back to streaming and gets emboldened by paypig simps and coomers into thinking she's hot shit. Even if that happens, I still think an open relationship arc is much more likely.
