If you are unwilling to take 'stop voting Republicans for federal elections' as a cogent response, well the guy you just said glows has an alternative I believe might be more in your interest. Alternatively, if that's not good enough and your reaction is that you must vote for one of two parties, then that is functionally no different from saying that you must continue voting Republican assuming you find voting Democrat as unpalatable as I do.

If you don't, and your plan is to vote Democrat, well then I don't really know how to respond other than to say at this point it is clear it is not a 'better' option than voting Republican.
