My stance has always been that you integrate the ones that are currently here since they're already important to the economy (by integrate, I mean that they gain full labor rights and protects as they would become US citizens, they would be indebted to the government for the cost of doing so without interest). If you are unwilling to take 'stop voting Republicans for federal elections' as a cogent response, well the guy you just said glows has an alternative I believe might be more in your interest. Alternatively, if that's not good enough and your reaction is that you must vote for one of two parties, then that is functionally no different from saying that you must continue voting Republican assuming you find voting Democrat as unpalatable as I do.

If you don't, and your plan is to vote Democrat, well then I don't really know how to respond other than to say at this point it is clear it is not a 'better' option than voting Republican. Which again winds back around to 'let's just keep voting Republican, guys!' if you're intent on voting for one of two parties.

did you not read my last sentence? if you did then you realize that what I'm putting forward is basically providing a 1 time exemption to the currently undocumented people. From that point forward all new ones would be treated as is determined by the law.
