1. I'll give it to Guang-my-Dong. The Guangdong head who resigned, Kuzunoha, was one of the few better people in the mod who was not entangled with the modding bullshit.

2. I am 90% confident that Mango's plan will undergo another and another and another round of rework. We all thought VP was finalized in '22-'23.

Alex is a YouTuber I really really want to like, but his format and comedic style is really grating at times. I'm sorry to hear that he is going through personal problems and YouTube is probably his only realistic career choice at this point (or otherwise starting over in a new field), but he's kinda cringy tbh. I do like the shtick that he's the monarchist focus path guy, even though irl he's probably pretty liberal and I recall him saying in video he's pretty far from a Monarchist. TBH though I wish he was and that King Charles III would name him Governor-General of Canada.

I used to watch Alex but gave up about a year ago. His heart isn’t in it any more, and what’s worse is that he sucks at the game, he never takes the time to learn the new meta. I feel bad for him that he’s stuck like he is, but at the same time this is all his own doing.

Eh, I don't mind the Russian political paths since it's more in the spirit of fun than anything else. The most unrealistic part of TfR is that Medvedev is actually competent.

What got cut out of/added to VP in that time? Is the constant reworking even seen as a problem in TNO or is it just seen as improving the mod? Is this KF page ever acknowledged among the devs?

Died in silence. Nothing much came out of it.

Proof: There was a set of highly extensive rules on how to elect project lead and deputy project lead and the document was deleted after the 2024 Matsuo resignation/purge. Those rules were only available to team leads and above.

Many of the new mod controllers were egotistical and more invested in larp mod politics. Some were decent people but they had little say.

I passed step 2 and I am on my way to getting my license to do surgeries on people.

The Guangdong lore sprint was my favorite part. I enjoyed working with many people of the sphere team, although they tend not to get the resources they need.

Vote pig is the name they gave to the US rework project and Mango is the person behind it.

People left because the team can’t deliver its promise. Germany and Japan rework won’t happen before HoI5 comes out if you ask me.
