I could be wrong*, but when you're on LINK/SNAP benefits you're given a certain amount based on your determined needs (how many mouths to feed, income level, etc) and you have to spend exactly that amount or they will lower the amount you get the next month. They also divide the money you get, some of it can be used to purchase anything but some of it will ONLY work if you spend it on food. Like a literal "does not work at the cash register unless the item is considered food" thing. You also can't use that food money to buy hot/fresh food, just prepackaged crap, so around the end of the month when people are at the end of their LINK money and don't want their dollar amount reduced the following month (because you never know when you'll actually need it,) people on welfare come to the grocery store and buy a fuckload of garbage they don't need so they can get as close to 0 as possible so the welfare office knows that yes, they do need that same amount.

Honestly, my experiences with welfare have been so discouraging. They never want people to practice actual smart money management; you can't save money or they cut your benefits, you can't shop within your means or they cut your benefits, and the minute you start getting out of the hole you're in they pull back any and all support and leave you on your own. The government doesn't give people a hand up out of poverty, they give you hand outs to keep you dependent on them. The policies that "save money" like this just shoot everyone in the foot and make the problem worse. Not that the government should throw tax dollars out willy nilly, but for fuck's sake, y'know??

From what I understand at least for EBT, you don't lose anything month to month. Maybe if they determine after long enough you don't need that much, they'll cut it down, but it's not uncommon for single moms to be drowning in EBT, like over a thousand rolled over from months. Also a lot of places get around the hot food thing by, for example, selling you a cold pizza and then cooking it after the purchase as a "free service"

It's very common for grocery stores to have a huge surge at the start of the month from niggers loading up carts with junk food when their debt comes in. Back when I was 18, I was a cashier and niggers would come in with $400 worth of junk food and slop but wouldn't check their balance, so if it came in late they would just leave the cart somewhere and walk off.

Must be nice not having to work for things. You can sit and read every classic work of prose, or verse. Watch countless movies and plays for free on youtube. Go out for a simple stroll. You could create countless works of art like your own novels, or poetry, or paintings. Hell you could even go work under the table for someone and have tax-free spending money. Must be really nice.

Iirc one of the reasons Haitians go a long way when trying to enrich EU/US is because Dominicans at best will deport them immediately, but there's a good non-zero chance the Dominicans will just kill them and nobody will care.

They're two different, separate countries. The DR shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti; Dominica is an island country in the Windward Islands (it's SE of Puerto Rico between Guadeloupe and Martinique).

What I find perhaps most horrifying of all, for I have long become numb to the spectacle of my tax dollars being wasted on our least productive and worthy, is the absolutely haphazard way they pile shit in and on these carts. Just sling whatever's in your hand in there. No rational thought towards not crushing things, breaking plastic wrap on raw meats, brushing fruits and vegetables, breaking bottles, etc.

They almost always bring their obnoxious children along and have them push a second cart.

we taught them complex government systems, they use it for gibs
we taught them philosophical concepts of freedom, oppression and human rights, they use it to mean "me oppressed cause me sad when no gibs"
we taught them how to cook, clean, farm, take care of a house, build, engineer... they do the bare minimum and then demand gibs for effort

why even bother? we could seclude them all in one single small fenced off state, run a single armored walmart there and convince them there's nothing to life but greasy chicken and koolaid and never ever inform them that anything else is possible nor exists and they'll happily live there on that human ranch their whole life never dreaming of more

Some 20% of the births on Dominican's capital is Haitians, they cross the border with like 2 days left to the water break and so the hospitals are forced to take care of them. They exploit even that.
