Assuming you did actually get banned from the switch 2 thread, can't you, you know, make an official nintendo hate thread and post all the vague, possibly fedposting and random interjections that add zero to any discussion you insert yourself into about how nintendo raped your whole family and is worse than nestle and dupont combined you want, instead of shitting on our lawn?

Women/Troon character aside, as long as Ghost of Yotei plays like the first game, and it looks like it will, the game is going to sell a ton.

First, that post was about how at one point the nintendo switch 2 thread actually discussed the nintendo switch 2, both the pros and (joy)cons, where it's now just regurgitating unsourced sludge videos from youtube for 90% of it. Second, sony fucks up in new and innovative ways pretty much every week if you actually pay attention.

There already is a general Nintendo fanbase stupidity thread seperate from the two Switch threads.

All three have perfectly valid reasons to go third party at this point, but Nintendo is too stubborn to change their ways, Microsoft is too stupid to give up, and Sony is too proud to admit their business is unsustainable. Nintendo is at least justified in their stubbornness if Switch 2 sales are any indication, but the other two have no excuse.

The number 1 reason for consoles to exist are exclusives. However, another big reason that's pretty much been lost the past few generations is the idea that software from the same company that makes the hardware should be able to take advantage of that hardware and push it beyond its theoretical limits in a way that no 3rd party developer could ever achieve. As many issues I have with the performance of totk on switch 1, holy fuck, an average developer probably couldn't get it running on a ps5. But then you look over at playstation, and, regardless of my problems with them as games, the only games at all that used the ps4 and ps5 to their fullest potential were death stranding 1 and 2. A 3rd party. I'm struggling to think of a 1st party that ran bad on playstation the past couple gens either, but none of them are pushing limits.

At this point I don't even know why Sony fanboys are still celebrating the "death" of Xbox.
Xbox dying a slow painful death doesn't mean that the PS5 magically becomes a console worth owning.

The only thing Sony cares about these days is releasing more and more third person cinematic movie games and live service trash... and tragically it's paying off because the profits they are making with the PS5 are bigger than what they made on all the previous 4 consoles combined.
Casuals are the majority of the industry now, we hardcore gamers that grew up in the golden age of gaming are just a powerless minority now, that no one caters too anymore.

Twisted Metal is dead
Socom is dead
Jak and Daxter is dead
Killzone is dead
Buzz is dead
Sly Cooper is dead
Playstation All Starts is dead
Wipeout is dead
Drive Club is dead
PaRappa the Rapper is dead
Resistance is dead
Uncharted hasn't had a new game in 10 years
Rachet and Clanks new game bombed
MediEvil remake sucked ( IP is dead again )
Infamous is dead
ModNation Racers is dead
The new God of War Norse Saga sucks ass
The Last of Us was never good
Little Big Planet is probably the next IP on the chopping block

The only good Sony IPs still alive right now are Gran Turismo and Astro Bot. But no matter how good these games are a first party line up made up of just two good games isn't enough to justify owning a new console , which is why I ended up selling my PS5 two years ago and started gaming more on the PC.
