If the money has helped make Russell Greer unhappy, it hasn't been wasted.
Maybe we can all come together and raise the GDP of Poland to give to Johnnie Cochran, he can stand in front of the magistrate and talk about Chewbacca, and then the judge can step in over his head, read not a word of the transcript of the bulletproof Chewbacca defense, and hit Russell with a $500 fine on .0000000001% yearly vig. Value!

Right choice? Sure. Good use of money? I cant delude myself. Not even the judge gives a fuck about what the law says or demands, despite six figures being thrown at a guy to explain that law to him. This system is too clusterfucked for me to feign respect.
I agree that it's all very stupid and the legal system is beyond busted, but you don't have to be delusional in order to think it's an alright use of money. Kiwifarms remains up, the money was voluntarily crowdfunded so no individual really feels much strain from the cost, and at least the money ends up in the hands of Hardin, an aggressive free speech advocate lawyer who's at least partially aligned with the site's values in general. If this case was some random shmuck being treated half as niggardly as null is treated, and on his own dime, I'd agree and it'd be a tragedy... But the only real suffering here is Greer's, and self-inflicted mental damage from exposure to the farce that null and the audience feel. And the funny bits negate most of that!!

Out of 150k raised last Feb? That's... honestly a bit discouraging. I hate being a doomer, but it's possible we could win the battle and still lose the war, unless Nool can find a more stable way to shut up and take my money.
AFAIK this is for all of the representation for suits against Jersh, not just this Greer nonsense.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Jersh made the wrong call in fighting this. I donated the first time and I'm fully willing to do so again. I just think that there's no shortage of retards and trannies willing to self immolate against the Farms just for the street cred. Some of our enemies have surprisingly deep pockets, and they may decide the math works out if they can find the right useful idiots.

Is that 10 business days? If so, wouldn't it be 15 days on account of the Independence Day holiday? In that case, I wouldn't expect to hear anything until Wednesday at the earliest.
I don't know what the rules are for Greee court. The only court I'm familiar transitioned from business days to calendar days at around the 2 week/14 day/10 business day mark.. So if the order said "10 days" it was 10 business days and excluded holidays. If the order said 30 days, it was 30 calendar days. Lawyers would know the rules and waiting period for US mail.

A good chunk of that went to nulls retarded Australian buddy, so it wasnt even all spent here. That's pretty good tbh.
More than that, I remember Null's tone when talking about this and it makes me think that the chunk that went towards this was higher than any of us would think. I think he was talking about the billing practices of lawyers in America and when he briefly changed the subject to Vinni's case he blurted out that the Australian system is "straight up evil" or something to that effect, so yeah, saving his friend's skin probably cost a shitload. And then he kneeled to the brick-faced troon anyway, which is sad.

TBH we could raise 100k a month easy if we felt like it. Don't underestimate the spite of the autistic.
We could raise at least double that if the (((payment processors))) didn't treat Null like the Internet's nigger.
IIRC it was well over $200k. The $150k is just what was tracked with debit cards, it didn't include USPS money orders/mailed checks/crypto donations.
Here's hoping that Null is just playing rope-a-dope with potential litigants, and that the figure quoted excludes amounts donated outside of what was given via the website.

Look Hardin is great, I'm not disparaging Hardin here, but Hardin has damn near been bought a house behind this, and what does Josh or anyone else have to show for it?

Sadly, it doesn't work like this:
Client pays lawyer $100,000
Lawyer goes home with a big sack containing $100,000

Also, Hardin seems to be charging about what you'd pay for a decent plumber in my neck of the woods. I had a section of drain replaced recently. Took 2 hours. Cost £500.

Also didn't a big chunk of that go to 'help' that Australian retard who chose "do nothing" as his legal defense.
Almost all of the money spent went to Australia to overturn a default judgement which effectively made us an enormous civil liability to host, yes. Overturning the default saved the site. LFJ was already using it to try and get hosts to fold.

Hardin charges us basically nothing.

Josh just mentioned on MATI that he has 40-50k left in the litigation fund
A good chunk of that went to nulls retarded Australian buddy, so it wasnt even all spent here. That's pretty good tbh.
And then he kneeled to the brick-faced troon anyway, which is sad.

I think the thing that gets me genuinely MATI is that retarded fucking aussie got told "Hey don't be a retard", decided to be a retard, lost to Thwomp-Face by default, had to be bailed out, and the court basically said "Yep, this is bullshit, Vinny should have won this" and then... Let Dong-Long-Gone win anyway, writing a "Oh Josh "Null" Moon is evil and I disavow him completely, I will sell all my belongings so Long-Gone-Dong can have a reward" anyway.

Every cent given to him was wasted. Worse, it was given in the name of friendship, accepted in the name of friendship, and then Vinny stabbed the Urverlurd in the back anyway.

Though extremely hard to directly quantify, an answer is "Kiwifarms still being up" or "Not having even more frivolous lawsuits".
One significant achievement of the lawchest so far was scaring that scumbag ISP into retracting their Twitter libel and returning the stolen .net domain name.
