The all-important question which may or may not get derailed with tranny sperging--is it ever acceptable to play as the female character, or is it just mostly gay/troon shit?

It depends on a lot of stuff. What genre is the game? Is it my first playthrough? Which design is better? Does one have an advantage or play style I prefer?

I have no problem with playing as a girl, it's fine.

Depends on the game. If it's a game where you pick one character and you play it permanently: troon shit. If it's a roleplay game or some game where you play it multiple times: fine.

depends on the game, really.

if it's online shit then it's trannyism with a few trolls here and there, go as male and ignore female characters unless gendered class shit.
if it's porn game then most of the shieet will be made for the female character if you aren't forced to play as one, unless you are a follower of coby synthezoid and play futa games, for some reason they always go with the female frame even though hermaphrodites should mean both men and women appearance but both genitals...
if it's rpg's then going with your gender character is better unless you find out minmaxing shit related to gender differences.
if it's shooters then it's probably people trying to abuse the smaller hitbox else choice as singleplayer shooters hide the character model from your view anyway.
if it's platforming, probably tranny shit especially since you can find the troon flag hidden somewhere if indie.
if it's fighters then you better pick the japanese made one, never forget about skullgirls.
if it's simulators then you will most likely play as your regular gender since it's like fps minus the exploiting as you won't see much of your character.

else playing with male characters is a nonissue, trannysperging is probably for the fun of it but trannies play with female characters in a way a man that knows he will never be a woman will never play a female character as, if you are unable to understand what i said, i cannot help you and i fear for your future if you aren't a true and honest woman, also buy a rope for your inevitable rainy day.

It also really depends on the reasons why you choose to do so. Part of the appeal of playing an RPG is to act out a story. When you play Geralt in Witcher 3, you know you are not "Geralt".

Lots of women however rather enjoyed playing as Geralt and as a fun aside, most male gamers chose the Triss romance arc, while most female gamers chose the Yennefer arc.

The line is crossed IMO when its not a preset experience but rather a fully customizable one where the goal of the character creation menu is to create "you".

I assume most normal people aren't on the verge of an identity crisis and a troon arc because they played as a female blob of polygons in a fucking video game. From what I've seen from devs who cater to that audience, Trannies would pick up to play as Trannies. Since in the end it's all fake social class to justify acting degenerate in real life. Afterwards the question is if they'll play with a character that would enable their most coomer fantasies.

Having a guy play a Tiefling is much more of a warning sign than him playing a female character.
