As to the sniper taking Trump out: 1) the shooter was shooting from Trump's side, the sniper would have been shooting from Trump's back. The entry/exit wounds would not line up with the path the assassins bullets took. 2) the assassins weapon was an AR-15 firing 5.56, the counter snipers were armed with a different, much larger caliber weapon. Which would come up in any autopsy. 3) There were too many people there, someone would not only see the sniper turn, aim and shoot Trump, but would have also filmed it, and posted in seconds. It'd be all over social media in an hour.

Shooting criminals who are actively attacking you is not declaring war against the United States government. We have undergone multipke events that according to this thread should have started a civil war such as the JFK assassination, the 2020 election, and the response to January 6 which have led to nothing. The only way for a significant amount of the American populace to raise arms against the government is a direct threat to their lives on the level of a mass famine. The death of Trump would not inspire the necessary numbers needed to pose a threat because it would not disrupt the food supply train or in any way directly threaten the lives of the majority of Americans.

According to this thread seeing Trump killed in our current political climate would cause a mass revolt, so going by that logic JFK's death should have caused a civil war given the similar chaotic political climate and violence caused by the Civil Rights Movement.
