No they're definitely broke. Their lifestyle consists of buying and selling houses every other year, dropping bands at a time on shitty tattoos, paying for therapy, paying for dogsitting, paying for fast food deliveries, paying for e-celeb galas, and being $250k in the hole after nuking their own boxing event. These things would bankrupt even the most financially shrewd individuals when the only income is from views on old videos. I'd be surprised if they've been in the green even 1 month out of 12 for the last few years.
Remember that Anisa flat out told Ethan that they haven't been making money before the Snakening, at a time when she had no reason to lie. I can fully buy that they're broke. A woman like Anus can blow through money so fast it would make your head spin.
Let's say, theoretically, the worst case scenario happens to Ian. Anisa leaves him, no friends, no money, no home, little to no fans, fried from pills, stuck in another country, cucked and raped and now alone.
What would Ian have to do/say to garner sympathy or support for you personally? Is there anything or has that ship long since sailed?
Let's be real. We aren't the people Ian owes an apology. Ian owes Ethan and Hila Klein an apology for acting like their friend and then stabbing them in the back like an absolute viper, all over petty politics. He owes all of the people he's betrayed through Creator Clash apologies, and refunds. He owes an apology to Max, Chad, Joji, and all of the other friends he's treated like rubbish and taken for granted.
The only path to recovery for Ian is to make those apologies, publicly denounce Anus and what she's done to his life, and then disappear from the Internet to make himself right, body, mind, and soul. The only way Ian could ever rebuild a brand and go back to making a living off of content creation would be with the help and forgiveness of his old associates, and it's entirely up to them if they even want to offer it.
Rate me Optimistic, but I still think Ethan could forgive Ian if he showed genuine remorse and Anus was out of the picture. He's effectively said that he doesn't even consider The Raped to be the same person as the Ian he was such good friends with - and he's right. Even in this best-case scenario, though, Ian still has numerous prescription drugs he's addicted to and a reputation so radioactive he makes the Elephant's Foot look like a lump of lead.
It's a difficult thing for a man to come back from that without friends and loved ones supporting him; Ian hates his family and has alienated or outright broken ties with all of his friends. Any way you slice it, it is a grim outlook for him. If he has truly burned those bridges, he should learn a trade, move somewhere far away from Seattle, live a quiet life, and never look at YouTube, Twitter, or Instagram ever again for the rest of his days. That is what a recovery arc looks like for Ian Jomha.
