I don't think this is a career ender the way being blacklisted immediately after getting their toe in the door of mainstream with World Peace. Harland wrung some comedy out of it, and got the last laugh by editing against Sam, not attending his show, and being snide in the comments on the video. Nick and Charls have to swallow their PTSD and accept it in order to remain copacetic as a group, despite Nick arguably being fine if he split and flew solo. Chuck I feel bad for; he swallowed his pride and made amends with Sam in order to make entertainment again beyond schizo streams.

It's a misstep, but they aren't blacklisted from the fringes of internet media for flipping a desk and manhandling a 60 year old who took it in stride.

I've been an MDE fan for a decade and a half, love Fishtank, and generally like most of Sam's other work. I even think he's a pretty decent guy as a person.
That being said, I think his paranoia about Jews is severely clouding his mind. He doesn't realize that the degeneracy he hates is not all committed by secret cabal members. 99% of the garbage that may or may not be attributed to top-level J propaganda is espoused by people who have no idea that they're spouting propaganda. This Harland guy is clearly telling the kinds of jokes people died laughing at in 2004. Today we're more able to see how societally destructive some of that shit was back in the day, but older guys just don't. That doesn't make all older guys a bunch of secret cabalistic subverters.

Like I said in a previous comment though, I do think Harland was aiming to humiliate them before they even showed up. That cunnilingus technique bit was extremely sneaky. Harland was actually Norm's roommate and close friend for a very large chunk of Norm's career and supposedly one of the very few who knew Norm had been battling cancer for a decade. Harlan deserves massive credit for making Damiel funny on camera, something that Sam and his wiggers have never achieved.

Charls’ occasional interjections were another bright spot, he got a chuckle out of me nearly every time.

Sam should have approached this like a late season Fishtank 1-on-1 where he’s still kinda fucking with the subject but in a relaxed way where they end up laughing with each other.
