Democrats, if they wanted to win more elections, should actually acknowledge the problems Trump is bringing up instead of disregarding them, such as immigration, and actually propose ideas that make people want to support Democrats (like actually supporting mass deportations and going further on it than Trump). Bill Clinton did this strategy in the 90s, and it’s how he got massive popularity. Also, Democrats getting more serious about proposing more worker protections would be nice too. They have ways to easily get more popular than Trump, but it would involve them taking positions that would make their fringe supporters angry and normies happy. So far I haven’t seen it, so I’m just going to assume midterms will be a purple nothing for Democrats, at best.
