I feel like Richard has a bunch of psychological traits that protect him from understanding how incompetent he is. He doesn't really like everything in pop culture.

He hates manga. Mad Max is "no one's favorite film series" and he doesn't consider it good until Fury Road. Batman the Animated Series is boring. He didn't like Dredd and resented it when other people tried to tell him it was good. He doesn't like The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eight Dimension. Oh, and he did a movie review where he hated The Thunderbolts because of some animus he has against Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

I believe that when you interact with Richard, he thinks that he should be the leader and you should be the follower. That's really what his demands about "this is good, and this is not," are about. If he were more competent, he'd probably have started a cult by now.

however, and this is a meme at this point, you already know what Zack's review of "Slop A" is because all you have to do is think of what the BPC's review of "Slop A" is, and Zack will say the opposite to spite that crowd he helped create

and btw- nobody likes Buckaroo Banzai......people pretend to like as a flex to there nerd friends......they do the same thing with Jim Jarmusch movies

if Zack really want to hit Drinker deep where it hurts, question his writing ability because he liked FF7 Remake and FF7 Rebirth and drinker's only criticism for rebirth is how shitty Aerith death was.

no one, i mean no one, specially with writing chops, would, should like FF7 Remake and Rebirths story. it just flanderizes the character, made all the protagonists walking saints that cant do no wrong and removes all context of the story and character and replaces it with shitty fabula nova crystalis shit. but here we are, drinker likes both games.

PS. before anyone says "but the gameplay is good because it is a good action rpg!" please know that there are even JRPGs with better action rpg combat like the tales series and even squeenix own Star Ocean series has better full action jrpg combat than all this shitty tedious stagger slop from FFXIII they used for this game

I assume its him because I assume the name he goes by (Dane Whitman) isn't his real name both names (the one he goes by on Youtube and the one on the Arrest record) are the name of a Marvel Comics character he's said in the past he's from the south of Texas and he's said he doesn't have a good relationship with his family. this is the reason why I believe this is the same guy also I call him Actual Pedophile because in the past he has said that society needs to destigmatize pedophilia to keep kids from getting raped.

Despite this origin story, I've only ever seen him post those stupid puppet videos, that nobody is allowed to criticize, because "they're low effort on purpose".

He is also a prolific writer, of endless text walls and an owner of many pointless alt accounts - while accusing most who disagree with him, of being someone elses alt account.

I won't flood this thread with more screenshots, I'm just curious if this great art critic, who claims to be in group chats, with all the industry greats, ever actually drew anything and if so, how great it is, compared to everything he endlessly nitpicks.

Ok.....I don't know what you are talking about but I think the whole "aren't even comic book fans" narrative may as well just stop now. And if this is another jab at the Rippaverse you may as well not bother. WAY too many times have these narratives been debunked to be repeating them now.....also I'm glad you enjoy Absolute Batman, good for you.

respectfully, i think a good number (not a huge number) of people in this sector are more into being on a side of the culture war, than reading a good comic book

like 2 out of every 10

Buddy, if you're going to pull the usual gossip, conspiracy theories and fairy tales with me then just don't bother. I already know people who read good Comics also like Indie comics INCLUDING the Rippaverse and I see it for myself everyday, so whatever you're going to try and come up with don't even bother. I've seen too many reviews, too many people say what they like about them, too many industry pros and to many readers prove you all wrong to even consider believing any of that. YOU don't have to like them that's entirely your choice, but don't speak for everyone else. Egocentrists don't get far in life. In fact Egocentrism is EXACTLY what's wrong with the industry right now.....People just can't accept that their opinions are not facts.
