Highlight surfer, so forgive me of it's already been posited:

What if a foreign power made it known to Trump that they could, and would, under a false flag, nuke an American city if the files were released? (or some lesser 1000+ mass casualty event)

Or legit serious death threats against the families of Trump and multiple administration officials? 50 simultaneous text messages with 5-minute-old pictures of officials' children, nieces, nephews.
I think that fictitious foreing power would have some Navy SEAL teams scrambled to get their leaders an unpleasant visit.

But a more serious scenario is that the foreing power is an ally with the US, and if said list gets public, it would be dragged with the US as well.

Any enemy nation of America would salivate at the idea of having such a blackmailing torpedo against the legitimacy of the president, so they would do a lot more damage rather than threatening with the sequel to 9/11.

This letter is the argument against the release everything position. A piece of bullshit no one ever believed that got stuck in a filing cabinet no one ever looked at suddenly becomes national news. I'm not saying you have to be against the release everything side of things because of that. But it is an example of what will fill the next decade if every memo a glowie ever queefed on gets released.

This is going to be just like the steroid era in sports. Before a certain date you just have to assume they were using. Everybody. If they weren't using they at least knew everybody who was and looked the other way so fuck them too.

Looks like Trump knew the WSJ thing was going to come, waited until it did (which meant getting hit with all the panican bullshit), and now as they flopped hard on a gotcha will let all the stuff be released as a massive fuck you.
This is the shitposting I am going with: Trump held it back to lure the media into a trap so that he could then release more info to spite them and with fewer consequences.

That'll piss some people off.

Do not forget that Trump tardwrangles the media in an incredible, almost exquisite manner. He won the first term by trolling CNN so much that the 'C' now stands for "Clown".

So your shitpost has a nugget of autistic truth to it, which is even funnier.

My take on this: Trump learns that the files are either gone or clearly tampered with, likely after the initial Bondi gaff and the NY office revelation. So he tries to just end things so he can focus on things that have a more immediate effect on the country(cutting illegal numbers, revving up the economy, ect.) Of course, he knows his enemies will try to drag things out to make him look bad so he waits for them to start publishing bullshit like the birthday letter and springs the trap.

Of course they "had something to do" with each other, they all went to the same parties. The issue is that there's zero evidence that their involvement revolved around raping kids or going to the island.
This is a big issue i see coming up whenever epstein files are mentioned. The guy was very well connected, of course people are going to be involved with him and in photos with him and shit. There's photos of trump and clinton together in the 90s. Hell even people who went to his island weren't necessarily balls deep in teenagers, his island had all sorts of shit on it.

Although it seems to have been Epstein's strategy to get evidence on everybody simply by being there.

VDH summs this up pretty well at 4:26

I think a lot of chronically online shutins have so little social interaction or engagement with the world they assume interacting with a person = being directly involved with the worst skeletons in their closet. This very dynamic is probably why there has been so much hesitancy to release the damn files, not just because of what they actually show but because they fear how the average schizonigger will jump to conclusions based on simply being at his island. If the files are released we'll probably be shocked by how many people were at his island, and let down by how little 99% of them actually engaged in.

I think the epstein shit is a bit overhyped. Files are kept secret all the time, and the youngest chicks he had there were what? 16? That's immoral and worthy of a jailtime but not the messy death that people who fuck 10 year old deserve. I saw a thread the other day about some nog who literally rapes toddlers on video and it hasn't even made the news. And the fact that diddy got away with anything short of a .44 mag through the brain is proof that this country doesn't take age of consent laws seriously enough.

If epstein and some billionaires get a way with this shit it's no doubt a victory for evil. But the issue has been falsely dichotomized against all the progress (tm) we've made in the past 6 months centered around trump.
