This thread is such a mess I'm not even sure what to post. Was pleasantly surprised to see a few Canucks actually revolted by the outcome, so there is that, I guess.

r/saltierthankrayt was created about a year later in response to defend their favourite multi-billion dollar corporation and the Star Wars Sequel movies, it's your typical LGBT liberal hugbox subreddit where they can praise the Sequel movies without everyone else making fun of them for having retarded takes on literally everything.

The entire subreddit is just pure cope, by in large they *love* that Luke was ruined (and they will argue that it was actually very good writing) and insist that everyone that hates the Sequels really just hates women and minorities and that it's all actually genius writing that everyone else is clearly just too dumb to understand.

Like most of these other weird reactionary subreddits that were created by MITA trannies over people making fun of something that they like, it has since branched out to other games/TV shows/movies and they all get super upset when the target audience of this type of content (teenage boys/young men) think it's shit and don't want to see ugly bulldykes and girlcock in all of their media.

Colbert's cancellation isn't some big conspiracy; late night shows just aren't doing well. "But, Colbert was the highest rated Late Night Show!" Yeah, that's like winning gold in the Special Olympics. CBS would probably save a shitload of money by just airing a rerun of Young Sheldon during that timeslot, and more people would tune in. I wouldn't be surprised if Fallon and Kimmel were both cancelled within the next couple years, too. Supporting these dying show formats is just a waste of money for these networks. For those ride or die Colbert-heads, I bet he'll have a podcast within six months, and the left will finally have their crude fascimilie of Joe Rogan

The Colbert cancellation conspiracy (that the network is dropping him because of his criticisms of Paramount/CBS and Trump) is simply absurd. He is being kept on till May 2026, another ten months for him to continue to beat his anti-Trump drum. If a network wants you gone, you're gone, really gone. They don't care about the optics or cost.

When Fox dropped Tucker Carlson, they wasted no time. Fox had run ads for his show earlier that day (a planned interview with Vivek Ramaswamy), but when his time slot came around, Tucker just wasn't there, and he never came back. When Megyn Kelly made a few (completely reasonable) comments about blackface that got a woke mob riled against her, NBC simply dropped her show, and her. They even still had to pay out her contract. It didn't matter; they didn't like what she said, so she was gone.

Many such cases.

I barely ever watched any of Colbert, but when I have, every opening monologue was just several minutes of ranting about Trump, every night, every time. It's no wonder a one-trick pony couldn't keep audience share.

I think that when I read the childfree subs, they make me feel about them, the way they feel about children. Irrationally angry. These man-children are luckily at no risk of ever having a child anyway, even if they wanted one. Those posts are either massive amounts of cope, or actual fucking psychos trying to justify their antisocial attitudes and behaviors
