There's a clip floating around here early on before this thread popped off where he mentions the farms as "a fragment of the old Internet" or some similar platitude. I think he deliberately avoids mentioning it these days but I haven't searched transcripts in a while.

What someone may generously think he means is that it's dynamically typed like Python or Javascript but someone who knows about dynamic vs static typing would know that the types are there regardless and that's why there's no such thing as "no typing" where data types don't exist. Data types always exist, it's an easy and efficient way to work with the data. There's a reason the "fast" programming languages tends to be statically typed.

Statically typed languages are transphobic against type-fluid variables. Inferring a variable's type is violence, especially at compile time. Absolutely nothing will happen. Twitch did nothing when multiple big streamers investigated and shined a spotlight on Fextralife viewbotting a little while back. If twitch can't be bothered to stop viewbotting on their own website internally why would they care if people are artificially extending hype trains? They still make money from it.
