I hate how deaths like this are put in the context of "golly gee, she had a shitty life and she did suicide by degrees, but at least she is not suffering from her mental anymore!".

What a fuckint tragedy. A woman is dead and the people who stood on the sidelines watching her do this too herself are asking for ass pats to console them and validation from the church.

My Brothers and Sisters in christ, you are failures. One of God's children is gone and all you can say is "at least she is not suffering now". You act like she had terminal cancer or some shit. But that's not it. She starved herself to death and you just sat there and watched.

And now you ask for internet ass pats. Damn you instead. May God hold you to account. Ask not for the comfort of your fellow man. Instead put on the sack cloth and ashes and ask God for forgiveness. For only God can forgive you.

I don't know much about the context (and you probably don't either considering this is both of our first posts ITT) but there's only so much you can do to help someone. Ultimately, only they can fix themselves and remember: they wouldn't be lolcows if they took advice.

How does that even turn out in the end ? A ridiculously thin coffin ? A comically small urn ?
A really cool Guitar

I detest the claim "they are not suffering anymore" when it comes to suicide.

It's a cop out. Yeah this is my first post in this thread but my basic read up on it is sufficient for me to sit on a throne of perfect moral judgement.

The people around this woman failed her. Their failure is evident by the fact that she is dead. Their ask for sympathy is selfish. They deserve none. They should instead be held to account for their failure.

As for their claims to Christian charity and the benevolence of God, they should be reminded that suicide is a mortal sin, and enabling a suicide is a mortal sin as well. There should be no sympathy. There must be consequences and true repentance for failure to live up to God's commandments and to let one his sheep die in the wilderness.

Woah I've seen pictures of her around the internet for years but never knew who she was. Anorexia is a disease and it's too bad she never got help or was able to overcome it.

R.I.P.
I think I despise proanas more than deathfats because you they don't have the excuse of having enablers send them snacks in the hospital they're keeping their gobs clamped and the proof is in the low fat pudding. At least when a big fat person dies of obesity they are clearly an afront to God and a victim of society's gluttonous ways to die of anorexia in this culture is squarely on your circle.
I could have fixed her
She could've gained a few.
