Could be as simple as a scheduling conflict with more important cases he has on his plate.
Aaron needs to find an experienced HRO case attorney, a woman would be excellent, and take as much time as needed to present a slam dunk case against these faggots for the thirty minutes allowed at the hearing.

It could still be the money and the lawyer doesn't just want to call his client a broke dick motherfucker in public.

The language seems to indicate something more than that, though, and usually, client and lawyer have wrangled over money BEFORE an upcoming hearing, and there isn't a surprise withdrawal on the "eve of trial," as it were. (Technically not trial.)

The obvious potential issues from Aaron would be:
  • Not disclosing the RP trial stuff
  • Not disclosing more about the qover
  • Not disclosing or obscuring some other crazy shit from his lawyer
  • Paying the lawyer with Johnny Krutches' tugboat
  • $$$ (although he was ahead of the goal last week, and supposedly has a war chest. I know, rainbows.)
Flip side, it's possible something in the lawyer's life happened:
  • Emergency: Death in the family or terminal prognosis, doesn't want the info leaking out into the wider Internet
  • Another case exploding or some other professional duty
  • Ethical dilemma not above
  • ???
I'd think if it was one of those (less the ethical issues), the former attorney for Aaron would try to find Aaron a lawyer to jump in from the firm he worked for? (Or maybe it's some socialist collective, I haven't dug into how the firm is structured.)

It's just odd since the evidence exhibits were sent off late last week, how things would have fallen apart so quickly. Welcome to Lolsuits, LLP, I guess.
