Probably zero. her discord isn't having a hissy fit over it and /vt/ is shitposting with the force of a thousand asses but with almost no response. i'm almost surprised no one is having a meltdown over it.

that being said i'm so glad she's tying the knot. she's like one in a thousands kind of girl.

Some /vt/ fags fell for the parasociality hard for her because of the "mommy" meme and the ASMR, since she didnt do any male collabs or acknowledge the stars at all she was also one of the ones seen as being anti males.
This was purely schizo conjecture, that minority on /vt/ had a small melty when she once said "we are not friends" schizos elevated it as her shitting on her fanbase but it was a very simple and calm "please seek out actual connections and not with a one way relationship with a creator"

I think there were also some other funny minor schizo melties from /vt/ niggers when she acknowledged Rubber Ross on stream because she was doing challenge runs on his levels, but even then the majority was making fun of the schizos

With this announcement though, I wonder how much of the reason for her leaving Hololive was because she wanted to get married and have kids.

I imagine Cover wasn’t to enthused to hear that she’d have to be gone for extended periods due to having a child and having to deal with the possible fallout if fans found out, because there is no way they would have allowed her to make this announcement while working for them.

Early Hololive, before anyone was really paying attention, was a total menhera-fest. They "grew out of it." (The girls willed it to work, basically.) IdolEN was just like ancient Hololive, all the way down to a missing mystery girl and a manager sex scandal. Instead of rallying—"We're the best girls! Eat shit, world!"—it just died.

Menhera is the true path to glory, but it's mortally hazardous.

Phase Connect is hanging out at a gas station at the last exit onto the path.

I think it's early yet to gauge impact with the shear amount of shit going on.

This is for sure one of those times, where if you have something off-putting that you want to get "out there" so that you can dismiss it as 'old news" later, the time to drop it is right the fuck now.

Marital status is one of those things that creeps/biz rivals could try to lord of you, better not to let them if you've already decide that's the next step for you.

Rushia got married while in Hololive and when the infamous message popped up on her stream Hololive said their talents are allowed a private life. Of course then she went to Korekore and things turned to shit but Hololive didn't look like they were going to get rid of her just because a relationship was exposed. They dodged a massive bullet with how that one worked out though. It doesn't really answer the question of if they would allow a vtuber to announce it though but I think it would be quite rare to find vtubers who would want to.

Either that, or Fauna/Nimi realized she couldn't properly manage family duties with corpo idol stuff, and decided to go indie for better work/life balance.

That interview there she talks about it. Her having a kid and an ex husband is super old lore but like you said it's been scrubbed in recent years.

The rest of it about the absentee mother stuff is largely just peoples personal interpretation. I'm sure with the medical stuff her parents definitely played a big role in helping raise the kid (children are germ magnets which is complicated when a parent has an immune deficiency) But when all's said and done we don't know how much time she spends with the kid outside of her stream times, though some people say that stream time itself is her neglecting the child. I personally just look at it as no different than a parent who works a lot and lord knows Mouse's income has probably ensured a good life for the kid.

Yes, in the interview from 2018 she stated she has a ten year old (kid would be roughly 17 now). Given her condition it was a difficult pregnancy. The father was a piece of shit. Mousey is divorced. The kid lucked out and doesn't have her mother's condition. Mousey's age can reasonably be estimated in the mid to late 30s.
