I would not be surprised if Sam pulls the same thing that Zack/Zinnia Jones' ex-GF Penny Robo did, and bail without warning. Last I checked, deadbeats don't cover the cost of both the baby and the mother's rent, food, clothes, etc. While i'm not going to laud Daniel as Dad of the Year, if he truly was the deadbeat that Becky wants everyone to think he is, she and the baby would have been starving on the streets months ago.

If an actual child support order existed, it would be for a specific amount. Becky has never mentioned taking legal action to secure a child support order, so the theory is that when they organised the "three parent" bullshit they may have signed consent orders stating that they're each responsible for one third of the cost of raising Hannah. Any such agreement would almost certainly not be public.

Actual child support orders also take into account non-cash contributions like providing housing and the custody split.

Neither Becky nor Daniel seems to have been in a hurry to initiate family court action here. Had Becky been served, or had Becky started legal action, we'd have been hearing about it endlessly. I don't know whether California requires an attempt at mediation before family court matters can proceed to court, but if it does they haven't got that far yet because Becky isn't whining about it.

For all of Becky's whining, the "commune" doesn't seem to have been given a hard date to vacate the property so it can be prepared for sale and Daniel doesn't seem to have taken legal action yet to force a sale. Becky likely isn't in a hurry for custody and child support arrangements to be formalised by a court, either, because she will be worse off financially once that happens even if the amount of child support she receives is generous. She and Jackson will either need to dissolve their "commune" or house and support it out of their own incomes.

IANAL but remember we are dealing with Becky, and you have to filter Becky's lie-babble back to reality.

The "court order" she's likely referring to is whatever legal arrangement they used to achieve a "3 parent birth certificate", meaning Daniel is a legal parent. All of them still currently live in the same house and it's likely that no official legal agreement has been made yet regarding custody & the future of the McMansion, because that appears to be on-going.

You don't pay child support when all of you still live under the same roof and are actively parenting the child. The point of child support is (theoretically) to make sure the child's quality of life isn't drastically different between the two different households they share time between.

My hope is that Daniel is documenting her attention-seeking lies and her low engagement posts cost her terribly in family court/arbitration.

I think something about the vacation with new girl has really shook it out of Becky. She probably thought, as others have mentioned, that they’d eventually work it out being under the same roof. As it stands Daniel can afford to house his baby mama and her little friends, while also maintaining a whole separate woman and carving out a life that Becky has zero access to. Now she’s all weepy and mourning, posting itemized lists of all her tragedy and losses. I imagine she just gets increasingly more bitchy around the house when Daniel doesn’t seem moved to act on her cryptic posts.
