Heather's not a good driver.

Three of the kids (Ryan, Jacob, and Alex) are not Michael's kids. She requested a name change for them. It appears I was wrong about Heather's maiden name being Zopp. That's her ex-husband's last name. Her maiden name is Withrow. Got divorced from Rickie Zopp.

She's declared bankruptcy in the past.

Heather's been arrested for assault (not sure why there's a height discrepancy; she lived at that address at the time)

I'm with @RisingPheonix, I'm not watching those videos to give this shithead my views nor to see kids being pushed around and screaming at each other for the sake of "entertainment". Just reading about what goes on disgusts me and hurts my heart. My brothers may have been annoying to me for years and we've had our squabbles, but I love them all dearly, so I can't imagine what it'd be like if we were forced to be in simulated cockfights with each other for the sake of YouTube views. This has to be extremely harmful to these kids' relationships with one another because you just know this is all they have. I doubt any of them have actual friends to have proper human contact with.

Fucking delusional. Whether the parents end up losing custody or not, the kids are never going to talk to each other again when they grow up and leave the nest (if they make it to adulthood and have the sense/ability to cut ties at this rate).

Even by lolcow standards, this is supremely fucked up. Is there any way to actually confirm whether or not CPS has investigated him before? I figured that was just a lie he told so people wouldn't think to report him.

While everything else is fucked up, that part is just how siblings go.

I do kind of agree, but based on the clips I've seen, I think it goes a little deeper. There's siblings being dicks to one another, and then there's siblings actively being encouraged to treat each other like shit. It looks like the family definitely plays favorites. The older kids seem to emulate the dad based on the clips I've seen, so I'm guessing the older kids are rewarded for treating the younger one, namely Cody, like shit.

*Edit* I just saw the clip talking about the Disney thing and their apparent "apology". It looks like the fucked up dad is pretending to be upset they aren't bringing Cody, and trying to imply that he's just being the good dad that wants his kids to be happy and successful, and they're the ones having a hard time dealing with Cody's "extreme behavior". It looks like a massive PR spin, especially given the "to all the haters" video he made, where he clearly didn't give a fuck. The fact that Cody doesn't actually appear in the video is also suspicious as fuck, given this family doesn't strike me as one that gives a shit about privacy. If Cody really did have some shit smearing freakout, I can't imagine they wouldn't try and monetize that, just like everything else their kids do.

Mike has been defending himself on Twitter, trying to spin this to suggest Philip DeFranco is really the bad guy here.

TL;DR "I'M the victim! I'M being abused! Feel sorry for ME!"

Many child abusers have borderline personality disorder, and this sounds like one of the many (MANY) manifestations. Be a monster to the kids, act like a martyr in public.

Fuck him. Fuck him up the ass until he dies.

DeFranco raises an interesting point that shouldn't be overlooked: both parents seem to target Cody.

In the David Peltzer (A Child It) Case, David's mother targeted him out of his several brothers, for seemingly no reason. My mother was also the victim of severe abuse by her mother, picked out from her two sisters and brother.

In both cases, alcoholism was a significant factor.
