Kinda surprised that efukt has managed to outlive all the other legends like rotten.com, ogrish, bestgore, and even liveleak.

There's actually very easy reason for that: it's porn so it links to a bunch of porn websites and is semi-promoted from within the porn industry. It's easy to get ads and shit for it so long as its legal and tons of the videos are from legal porn and even directly link to the original creators (I am sure as shit those fuckers get tons of sales when someone gets their kink itched about women have degraded talk done to them or whatever).

I've heard some people say the quality of eFukt has dropped over recent years and it maybe has but the website will always exist since they sell merch and do link referral bullshit that probably brings in at the very minimum a few hundred bucks a month if not tens of thousands of dollars (keep in mind there will be people who want to see more of the most outlandish kink shit or take a liking to some particular porn star or series and those referrals pay tons).

The other comparisons such as rotten, bestgore etc I think never got anything besides ads (which don't pay nearly as much) and liveleak only shut down very recently and the owner wasn't clear on why - reading between the lines it was because of moral/legal/ethical reasons behind what it hosted and he started a new website which didn't host that kind of shit anymore. To be honest I wouldn't want to be associated with the negative karma of owning something like Liveleak or some of the more disturbing websites out there.
